I saw them at an outdoor venue in the Bronx in the mid 70's. Pretty wild crowd and the people next to us were huffing gold paint. At that point we felt it was a good time to get the hell out of there.
My brother's girlfriend has to do a road test for her full license, and they wouldn't let her use her car because the check engine light was on. I suggest she could borrow mine and see how they like it, but she can't drive a standard. Probably best not to start with a car on R compounds with a 9lb flywheel and a light switch for a clutch.
