Currently re reading Brave New World. After this I plan to do 1984 again. I have always thought that we are going to get a mixture of the two. I have talked about it here and there on this board. There is a book, fairly short and a bit dated, it was done in the mid 80's, but there is just a ton of good info in there.

I think the best example of this is AOC. When she went to washington she was out there asking for handouts. Her credit was so bad she could not rent a place to live.
Fast forward to this year and she is now worth over 30 million. So basically from nothing to 30 million in a few short years. If this does not show you the real problem with Washington nothing will.
Here's how you know the republic is gone. This should be the top news story and everyone in the country should be outraged and talking about at the dinner table. It should be international news and heads should roll.
