I really don’t pay much attention to the ”news” these days. (Mostly opinionated nonsense anyway, or political bull manure). And, my doctor, has cancer and is getting treatment at a world famous cancer center so I can’t turn to him to ask, so
In all seriousness, Please tell me we are not about to embark on all this covid bullshit again.
And, please pray for the young man, in his forties with a wife and two kids. He’s too good of a man to deserve cancer.
We left my FILS farm in the Texas Panhandle to drive back to Dallas. The direct route heads East from Hereford and its flat as can be. It was twilight and a bit foggy. I was at the wheel and my wife and kids were asleep.
I had a vision of coming to after a wreck and finding my wife dead next to me in the car. It jerked me out of my drowsiness and i slowed down and peered into the misty morning twilight. A minute later a jeep appeared in my lane heading right at me. I eased off the road into the ditch and the jeep roared by taking off my side view mirror. My wife awoke screaming her sight full of the jeep going by as we bounced to a stop.

Last years Octoberfest was shit, the year before was great. I have high hopes for this years. Bigfoot= good stuff. Just seems that they over hop about every beer they brew. They make good beer, just relied on hops to much.Do you mean this?
I lived in Paradise CA and stopped by there every few days. The stuff your local store stocks my be middle the road swill but they brew lots of great beers that do not make it into some distribution centers

Keeping it local, I have become partial to Fall River Brewing Company. My only quibble is that everybody and their cousin is an IPA drinker, where I prefer a Stout.
This is one of my non-Stout favorites.
Their seasonal stuff varies wildly from year to year. Summerfest, Celebration, Oktoberfest, and most of the others are either great, meh, or crap and you have to start with a sixer to find out if you’re throwing away a five pack or buying a case. I would think that Grossman would be able to keep it the same with the size of that outfit but apparently not.
I haven’t tried that one yet. I really liked their Pitville Porter and Collosus Imperial Russian stout, but both are either discontinued or very seasonal small batch now.
