2403-yard shot on a can of red bull, sounds like a load of bull.

I will add that although the just shy of 4 second flight time I recorded in the video lines up, the behavior of the can on impact does not comport with the expected impact angle from a shot that maxed out 260+ feet above the line of sight.

I'll tell you what Windex-buddy, It's a mild autumn here in SLC, UT. I'll fly you out here, get a local company to film it, and I'll pay you $500 per day for 3 days plus travel expenses and all I want you to do is hit an 18" plate at 2400 yards. I will make a contract, we will sign before a notary, and you will post any and all video from your attempt on YOUR channel and leave it there for at least 1 year else you owe me reimbursement for expenses as damages.

I got this one at almost 20 yards, iron sights no less. ;)

Roll cage for your scope? Cool! Great for off road shooting.
No, my friend. That right there is botulism!

ETA - I am also fairly fucking floored by the performance of OP's powder, Ramshot LRT. I've not seen anyone mention it as one of the ''go-to" magnum powders, but an SD of 2 is notable, to be sure.

Here's gigglesticks debunking his own 500 shot group 3 weeks ago:
https://www.youtube.com/live/-4XISeiSMq4?si=SF2NIl9WRucbgILW

Then one week later (2 weeks ago) he posts his 1/4 MOA at 500 yards group.

He's such a professional fraud that he's planning weeks in advance. Reminds me of Luka Magnotta, to be honest.

But a Fraud for sure

Looks like Overblown Windballs is a crony of this douchenozzle. Washington state. Makes sense based on his 500 yard target video, thats the PNW if it's not West Virginia.

This guy is a FRAUD with Reddit people onto him trying to figure it out.

He went from obscurity and no videos to millions of views in less than a year.

#fraud

If the terms aren't sweet enough, make me a counter. But beware: if it's too steep, everybody will know you're just scared and unwilling to do it.
I'll be happy to join you as a witness

Using Rollingstone as proof of anything is a surefire way to lose an argument. lmao
Yeah, like it or not, it's a source of information for ideas and independent confirmation. The point is there's a potential link there, meaning Ordinary Windballs is a shill for WranglerStar up in Washington State

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool the hide

The goofball has a "live stream" from 2 days ago in which he talks about getting his chamber cut with his own "die" and later "tool" and he talks about waiting for the wind to peak at 9MPH before taking his shot; his "primer tension" is "6 thou" and his barrel is "IBI". On their website, they offer only 2 lengths, 27 and 32". Here: https://www.youtube.com/live/x8ffOY7khgo?si=pFZDSkTxQqjRXR3p

Somebody asked "How do Cody's bootlaces taste" during the livestream, another hint that this clown is somehow in cahoots with or emulating the Wranglerstar dude.

This dude is in way over his head. Here he is throwing a "fire forming" load together with Atips and virgin brass, checking to make sure the nexks don't need "tightened" and just guessing how much Retumbo to load based on (several) quick looks at the Hornady manual. He settles on 90 grains, but claims his 338 is getting 3044 fps (and ES under 5!) with his 34" IBI barrel.

And his name is obviously a play on this Title by Glenn Beck: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Overton_Window

100% fraud, and carefully curated for the internet age. (He "got into ELR on Jan 6, 2020.") The book title Overton Window suggests an interest in getting into politics, and I wonder if this huckster is trying to be the next George Santos.

It soulds as if he is very gung ho and dedicated to the shooting sport. Despite all of the questionable facts that long range shooters know about. I would highly urge this gentleman to compete in F class and or ELR. This would truly shed light on whether or not he is full of shit or just happens to be able to pull off what one else in the world can. But I already know the answer.
in fact i am not sure why i even wasted my time asking comments. As none of this ever matters.

I am sure he would.

He was careful to put the disclaimer in that he has a unicorn range with prefect wind. He only has a handful of the perfect 2 ES rounds left.

That next lot just may not make the cut. This may be a once in a lifetime accomplishment.

Stars all aligned, until it is time to put up or shut up.

A perfect range with a wind that “cycles” between 4.5 & 9 MPH with “laminar flow”

And a guy who produces rounds with an ES < 5 but keeps changing powders, repeatedly consults an off the shelf reloading manual, selects powder charges from it by whim, doesn’t know virgin brass doesn’t need necks sized or fire formed, and brags about his chamber throated for bergers but is shooting ATIPS jammed at 0.026 by which he means a 0.026” jump.

Complete fraud.

My good friend and former professional photographer, Charlie B. showed me how you make “those” impossible shots.

Caveat, in the history of IHMSA, no one has ever made a 40x40 score with a production class handgun in the standing position, shooting at full sized targets.

So, Charlie’s cousin, shot a 3/8 scale chicken, with a .22 handgun at 200 meters standing with a Ruger MK 1 .22 no less. But did he?

First, you shoot a picture of Lonnie standing at the shooting line shooting his little .22 Auto. Next, you move to the 200 meter rail, set up your camera, and film then chicken being hit and falling. Lonnie was off camera, shooting the chicken from about ten feet or so. Finally, you move back to the shooting line and film Lonnie celebrating his great shot.

Go to the editing room and splice the film/tape to make it look like Lonnie shot one time, at 200 meters, hit the target at 200 meters distance and celebrates at the line. All elementary my fellows.

Ever noticed on some of the old fishing shows, the fishing host, sets the hook, then the camera breaks, restarts showing the fish on the line. Same thing. What happens from the time the fisherman sets the hook and the time the camera was turned back on, showing a fish on the line (as always a huge, record breaking bass of a lifetime).

Now, on these hunting shows with the Bang Flop deer and elk kills. Saw it the other day, the show had the intrepid hunter shooting a deer at something like 800 to a 1000 yards. The deer hit the ground, like it had been hit with a 105 howitzer. A bit later, on another show, a commercial came on featuring some product that our hunter did not use. They were demonstrating the effectiveness of their product. Same deer, same location, same everything.

TV and internet sporting flims are so damn fake.

Can I take this deal?

We might be a bunch of "haters" but at least we are not a bunch of simps kissing a dudes ass that is straight up trying to con people that he made that shot.
The only thing I hate is bullshit.

As said before. He would set records.

He also claims a furthest hit on a “full sized man target” is at 6861 or 6867 YDS.
[/QUOTE]
If he could do that then he should come to our range and shoot at our 8'x8' target at 8800 yards . We are here in oregon short drive for you from washington .

Digital video and modern software has made it too easy to lie.

Completely laminar flow, from the wind. Max ordinate all the way down to the dirt. 0 yards all the way out to 2500 yards
You know, THIS is the part that I really find interesting. So many nuances......

Tell us more about your knowledge of fluid dynamics.

What's most fascinating to me is that you can detect laminar flow in a transparent fluid using simple optical instruments.

I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about this.... @iceng @E. Bryant

Oh, when you get a response, break it down so that a simpleton like me can understand it.

Hell, and here I thought "laminar flow" was a song by "Enya". Oops, my bad. :ROFLMAO:
