Very incorrect the UH class runs about 3000hp, it's a turbine based on what's used in the chinook. Even the next class down is running over 3,000hp(from TF hydro drag boats)
1,000hp won't push a boat 250-270 in 1000ft. TF even swapped to twin screws years back to handle the high horse power numbers.
Hell, even if I didnt know anything this is all common knowledge in boat racing that can be googled to show y'all are wrong lol.

the result is a fog layer just offshore over the water called the Marine Layer. When the inland valley heats up it causes the air to rise, this has the effect of pulling air in toward the coast from the ocean the result is that you get areas completely socked in during the summer. If the turbine UH ran the numbers you said the Allison boats wouldn't be able to keep up and yet they do. Even the turbo v12 guys only claim 4,000hp.
