My mother had a kitchenaid for 30 years. No repairs
When I built my home 35 years ago,I chose K-aid, and went thru 2 Kitchenaid, one Bosch, and now a Fisher Paykel Clearly do not make them like in the past.

As I have recall, it became Whirlpool.

In 1920, the company released the first consumer version: a 10-quart model which was also the first ‘KitchenAid.” As the story goes, a wife of one of the company’s executives took the unnamed mixer home to test it, and came back saying “I don’t care what you call it; all I know is it’s the best kitchen aid I’ve ever had.”

Hobart sold KitchenAid to the Whirlpool Corporation in 1986.

What caused that trail? Fake?

I don't know if that specific photo is fake or not. But I have seen that during a couple of prairie dog outings over the years. Mornings, no wind, humidity and temp just right. It's like following trace on a long range shot but much more visible. You can watch the trail right into the target. Only happened for about 20 minutes worth of shooting then disappeared. Major cool.

Thank you,
MrSmith

I personally am a fan of the Cuisinart 12 speed mixer.

I'm not sure which is worse, the fat women pics or the appliance discussion. It almost, almost, makes me wish you'd all start arguing politics again. 🤠
Stop simping for Joe Biden. You just want to push gun control, climate change and 359 genders. The world is doomed now that Christie dropped out. He was the planets last hope. Maybe we can get a new ticket with Kinsinger and Cheney to run. They are proven honest conservatives.

Check out the lawnmower I got at a garage sale.

Where's the battery go ?

Kongresshalle (Hall of records), upper left and Zeppelin Field behind the "Lake" (top center).

The lake is actually man made. Hitler ordered it dug as the foundation for a 100,000 person Olympic Stadium that he wanted built. Hitler wanted the Olympics to be always held in Nuremberg (or, at least Germany) for a thousand years, he didn't want them held in any other country.

Construction ceased on the stadium at some point when it became apparent that the Nazi's were going to lose the war. Once that happened, the abandoned excavation filled up with water and resulted in what is now the lake.

I was taken to Zeppelin field (to tour) by two of my German counterparts in the company I worked for. They explained to me that every German child had/has to have at least one year of anti-Nazi "education" while in grade school. Essentially, it was intended to shame every child so badly that they would never entertain the idea of Naziism/Fascism again. I felt really bad for the two of them. They were really, really great people. (One guy, one Gal, both early thirties. You could see the shame on their faces). They were 5 generations removed from that terrible period in history, but yet were shamed and humiliated for the simple crime of just being German.

Zeppelin field is in various states of disrepair. It appears that sometimes, the area right in front of the podium is used for auto racing events. It was an odd feeling to stand on the podium, knowing what kind of evil had stood there before you, then looking down in front and seeing "donuts" on the pavement from auto racing.
