No, brown recluses are much smaller - about a third in size. Looks like an exoskeleton (yes they shed) of a edit after saw pic below: sun spider.

Before I realized spiders shed, I thought I just an abundace of spiders with vitiligo.

I'm not normally bothered by spiders (and I know that's not actually a true spider) or other creepy-crawleys, but that thing puts a shiver up and down my spine.

It's a horrible looking thing.

Yes - rebreathers even underwater would extend that O2 time.

Also Boyle's law comes into play regarding atmospheric pressure which can be quite a lot for those cave divers using side mounts vs space with...no atmospheric pressure

I used to live 25 miles north of Durango - about 200 yds off Highway 550 with a view of the Hermosas.
I will admit to taking it all for granted while I was there, but miss it terribly now.

I live in the Arkansas River Valley between 2 National Forests. Beautiful place.
That said , from Pagosa Springs to Durango…Silverton…Ouray….Gunnison is Epic.
If Oklahoma wasn’t in the way , I’d go every year before Winter or Spring.
