Joe has no time for Soldiers killed in action , Commander and Douche .........

I would not want that POS there if I were a grieving Family Member ..........

what an odd thing to say!
"Government agencies have long warned housing providers that unjustified and unnecessary blanket bans from housing based on criminal history disproportionately harm Black and Latine people and are unlawful," said Amanda Meyer, an ACLU attorney in a press release.

Fun fact: middle-age white male chiming in, I’m about to be forced out because I refuse to promote (already retired once 8 years ago), and even now, with all the examples of the DEI crap literally destroying businesses in the news, our company is still actively prioritizing “under represented minorities” for hiring and promotion.

I know, because I’m still a hiring manager and still get copied on the memos from corporate HR.

Hell, I may be (hope to be?) unemployed by this weekend! LoL.

My accountant wife’s freaking out because it’ll be tough to replace the rather nice lifestyle this role has afforded us, but I think she’ll be pleasantly surprised by the reduction in stress in my life…and by extension our marriage of almost 40 years.

This job is slowly killing me…literally with the stress, and metaphorically/psychologically with the forced acceptance of pretty radical left-wing ideology and social mores. I’ll be able to speak more freely once I’m actually out, but trust me when I say, everyone knows my employer. Good business model, but holy fuck are the internal policies out of synch with my moral compass.

I just haven’t had the balls to walk away from the rather staggering (for me anyway) sum of $$ thrown my way over the past 8 years since retiring from the AF.

Yeah…”muh pension!” is a real factor, especially when I factor in the obligations to my kids and health care.

It’s harder than I thought it’d be to walk away from a comfortable life.
Our western society has taught us to doubt our own personal commitment, ingenuity, reasoning ability, and intelligence. You are more capable than you feel. Losing my job 2 1/2 yrs ago made my life better. The journey was not without stress and uncertainty, but the family and I are in a better place now.

Something those people that say walk away just don't get.

I am leaving in 17 months, you have no idea how good that sounds next to 18 months.

For the next 4 months we are going to live on just what the wife makes. We did ok till the car wanted a new timing belt at 100k miles. So we are learning what it is going to be like when I do retire. Even with that we came in ok. She is having a time of it. And I am really needing some .311 bullets, down to half a box. But I will wait.

I hear you on stress. I don't have the hire part of stress over all, but I do have my one little division where I am currently looking for one person, and I am not looking forward to it.

I wonder if things like BP, and my unending back pain (there are real medical issues) as well as my feet being on fire now will change once I get the hell out of here.

Not faulty data, FALSE data. It all made up, just like COVID and all the other alarms they are screaming about.
Google climategate

If you don't remember this is when the emails got out about how they are....lust telling lies....about the temps around the world, and keeping things all straight via email.

If you think back to that time you will remember it was "global warming". Today it is "climate change". The term global warming died with climate gate as the buzz word of the day.

If you google it you will see one thing that is a "what we learned from climategate". What you don't see is how they are going to prevent such an event from happening again.

This is where I get to glass very half empty. This should have been the death nail to all this climate crap. It was proven in their own words to be lies. But here we are again.

That is coming. Make the idiots travel to the farm stand and look those farmer's in the eye and bargain for some food.
Maybe that farmer will barter with them. 8 hours of pullin' weeds for a small bag of spuds.

The .gov does not want that.

The Amish guy was selling food "the way god intended" and the .gov put the full court press on him. You can't sell that to people.

The people he is selling to is asking for this service. The amish guy had a deal with a local "butcher" sorry don't know the correct terms for this. That would have the meat .gov approved. But his customers did not want that. They wanted it all done locally. So the .gov went after him.

Loosing control of the food supply, as well as water, they admit they want to control water as even us idiots understand the need for water, is something they really fear.

There are laws in the US where you can't harvest rain water. That is illegal. This with the Amish is the same thing, they can't have you not dependent on the .gov for something.

But the cracks are really starting to form. How long will it be before it crumbles, I really think it depends on how hard they push. People are pushing back and that was not in the plan.

The US Government has said when a rain drop falls from the sky and "lands", it belongs to the US Government. I call that a Government that is over stepping. In many areas, Government has made it illegal to have a "rain barrel" set up to catch run off water from the roof and use it to water a garden. Of course the push back is beginning.

There is a lot of money to be made by cultivating the "Homeless".

The Biden administration said last week that they would allocate $3.16 billion to fund over 6,000 projects similar to the one proposed in Jackson across the country.

Every restaurant has menus posted that show exactly what each item costs.
I have zero feels for anyone bitching about what something costs when they knew exactly what is was going to cost before hand.

This person knew they were going to pay out the ass, and for shitty food at that.

The Iconic Toyota gun truck from Kabul evacuation has arrived at Fort Liberty

"paratroopers took the initiative andtraded two cans of tobacco dip to acquire the Toyota Land Cruiser equipped with a Russian-made 14.5 mm ZPU-2 anti-aircraft gun from the Afghan National Army."

flight attendant: so, you flying to Afghanistan, and all your carrying are 800 cans of Copenhagen?
sniper hide members: yup

"Toyota was flown out of Kabul, it spent years in storage at Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait. It took even more ingenuity from soldiers to complete the vehicle’s journey to Fort Liberty."
