Pedo Pete is on the prowl in his hometown. Would you let him hold hands with your daughter?

The charges against Baptiste bring into question how effectively migrants are being screened upon arrival and how reliable the information they submit to the governement before being allowed into the US is.

Republicans from the House Homeland Security Committee got data from Homeland Security last year which found that over 95% of all CBP One applicants are granted entry to the US.

The Biden administration expanded the use of the CBP One app in January to allow 547,000 migrants into the country per year, 1450 people per day.

The app also allows migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela to facilitate their travel via commercial flights to the US in a separate parole program, which has allowed roughly 404,000 entries through March.

Do they have an interpreter who can take the fall? works in MLB
i doubt ohtani was betting on baseball.

"Technically I did steal from him," Mizuhara allegedly said in a text to the bookmaker uncovered in court documents.

Mizuhara claimed to ESPN that he never bet on baseball and prosecutors in April said the same. Illegal gambling on any sport, however, violates MLB rules.

And..... Here's what you get when you don't "have the numbers" to pass legislation.
A dress rehearsal for the next administration.
51 to 49 = You lose

If the Dems didn't have the numbers a few Republicans would have voted with them claiming they were taking the high ground and our system isn't meant to work by going after individuals.

Another one bites the dust. I guess plastic straws won't be an issue.

Giant (China Owned) Australian manufacturer goes bust with 700 jobs at risk

"Qenos claims to be 'the sole manufacturer of polyethylene and polymers within Australia.'
High gas prices in recent years, combined with the closure of Exxon's Altona fuel refinery in 2021, are believed to be contributing factors to the company's collapse.

Qenos was recently sold by its Chinese owner China National Chemical to property developer Logos."

L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon improperly — and for political reasons — dismissed the criminal charges against the CEO of election software services company Konnech, a governmental tort complaint filed Wednesday by the lead prosecutor on the case claims. That eight-page complaint against Gascon with the county Board of Supervisors further alleges the DA retaliated against his lead prosecutor for opposing the dismissal of the charges — and reveals many more previously unknown and troubling details about the entire case.

On Oct. 4, 2022, the L.A. County district attorney’s office announced Eugene Yu, the CEO of the Michigan-based Konnech, had been arrested in conjunction with criminal charges pending in California. In announcing Yu’s arrest, the DA’s office stated that “under its $2.9 million, five-year contract with the county, Konnech was supposed to securely maintain the data and that only United States citizens and permanent residents have access to it.” However, in violation of the contract, “information was stored on servers in the People’s Republic of China,” according to the press release.

Jose Antonio Ibarra was illegally out on parole when he allegedly killed Georgia student Laken Riley, according to U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) records.
The records were obtained by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who in disclosing them at a Judiciary Committee hearing on April 17 slammed DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for telling the committee the day before that he didn’t know why Mr. Ibarra had been paroled from the federally run immigration detention center in El Paso, Texas.
“It’s in your own file!” exclaimed Mr. Graham, a ranking member of the Judiciary Committee on April 17. “How can you testify before the country you didn’t know how the guy got into the country, when literally at the same moment I’m giving you a document he was admitted into the country for lack of capacity at El Paso?”

Interesting comments. Frustration turning to anger. When people get angry they lash out a lot. They just see lashing out as having a lot of collateral damage while venting. Mike Johnson is playing a very weak hand. The Senate failed to impeach Mayorkas. A good example of Johnson playing a weak hand and getting beat in the Senate.

The reality is America is a sinking ship. All of those on the ship are venting anger. Too late now. Go rearrange the deck chairs.

"Ownership of a problem"

The residents of Los Angeles county "own" this problem.
Let this be a warning.
You own the problems of your county.
What are you doing about your problems..... Other than complaining.
