Create a channel Learn moreFor what's it's worth it prints OK on my Canon laser printer. I select actual size, landscape, and heavy paper to print it on cardstock. Some of the targets do not print. I have tried to do so on 2 computers and 2 printers. The Iron sight 50 is one that does not print the target- only the header.

Randy, your scores are posted.Managed three targets in very nice conditions this morning. Not sure how much rimfire I'll get to shoot this month as I have to get rifles ready for a prairie dog expedition to the Texas panhandle.

Ralph, on most of your bulls, it looks like a snake bite, the two rounds are so close! I think that's pretty good for $5 ammo... Well done!Greyknife/Ralph Here is my Factory rifle Score for April. I sure am not happy with scores this low. I was used to shooting better ammunition with my 40X when shooting Unlimited ARA and occasionally winning! I guess $5.00 ammo is not supposed to shoot as good as $15 to $20 ammo. Another guy at the range yesterday says he hopes he is still alive at my age! So I guess I should be happy.

April and still learning. Headwinds were causing movement in hanging target frame. I will try again on a calm day.

Milt, I love those older target rifles. I used to have a HMR M-12 which had a scope on it. It shot really well with Federal UltraMatch. That Kimber you have sure is a shooter! Good shooting! I have your score posted.I picked up a Kimber 82 government while wintering in Yuma, AZ. It's a shooter.View attachment 8404079
Jerry, well done! Glad it's a fun rifle to shoot with the craftsmanship he puts into it.Larry
Here is a target with the new Penrod 2500x. On the first bull I forgot to move the scope down 2 clicks. I got the tuner real close. It is by far the smoothest action I have ever had. The View attachment 8410236man is a true craftsman.
Milt, good shooting. I have your score posted.
Randy, I have your scores posted. Nice shooting with your Unlimited Rifles!Tried a different set-up on my 10/22. It was not successful.

Pew Pew. welcome! Boy, I sure like to see the vintage rifles folks shoot in our matches! Scoring looks good and class is also correct. I have your scores posted!Hey folks, here’s my entry for what I believe is the Match Grade Match class. First time, so if I have the class wrong, or have scored it wrong, by all means please correct me (and explain). The rifle is a fascinating Walther Sportmodell Meisterbuchse Olympiaschaft. A pre-War bring-back made sometime between 1934-1940. Based on serial number, I’m guessing it was made about 1936, but its impossible to date these, as all records were apparently taken by either Soviet or U.S. troops, depending upon story one reads. The Olympiaschaft edition indicates a heavier target style stock, vs. the other two, lighter variations. Best I can tell, it is box stock, including crumbling recoil pad. Missing front sight hood, and entire rear sight assembly, which is unfortunately pretty common. This variation was apparently intended for use in 1936 Olympics but lost out to the Mauser version. It shoots very very well, certainly better than me. I’ve got better ammo coming for next month, and I hope to also include an entry with my Anschutz 64 MPR. Someday maybe a Kimber 82G! So glad I found this group/match! Any questionsm please ask!
Somebody has to bring up the rear, right?!Pew Pew. welcome! Boy, I sure like to see the vintage rifles folks shoot in our matches! Scoring looks good and class is also correct. I have your scores posted!

I always say, your best competition is yourself. In ARA, you can get lost/distracted trying to beat another shooter. Shoot your best, and you'll be in both first and last place, against yourself! Enjoy the sport!Somebody has to bring up the rear, right?!
