Grey rat snake. Harmless, unless you are a mouse or another snake. He might bite if someone decides to FAFO, but usually docile. He will stink on you before he bites, though.

Your post made me want to mention something. If you have those little fuzzy jumping spiders around, then you want to leave them alone. They do an amazing job killing other bugs including spiders. I believe they even kill brown recluse.
My family watched one kill a spider yesterday. I may have driven the less desireable spider toward the jumping spider, but the jumping spider was happy for the chance at a meal.

I believe these are the Black Sand Beaches near Vik Iceland. Some of the last seasons of the series "Vikings" were filmed there. Great series by the way.
