This is a common misconception by people who do not actually fix cars.

That car is a 2dr sedan not a 4DR. The entire left side of the car needs to be replaced including the A-pillar, rocker panel, inner quarter and outer wheelhouse. The dash is fucked up, the steering column is fucked up, the drivers seat, rear seat and floor are fucked up, plus all of the associated interior and exterior trim. The roof will need to be repaired, the windshield is broken. The entire interior needs to be removed to perform the repairs. Frequently there will be damage on the opposite side of the car caused by the body flexing or moving during impact.

@Lapuapalooza did I miss anything? Would you fix this car for less than $30K?

No. I wouldn’t be surprised if the entire body and floor needs replaced. It would be interesting to see if all the right side gaps opened up in this one too. This car would run twice that amount to do it correctly.

I posted this picture on a Buick site and this was the resident experts response.

Your basically looking at a full repaint...damn near full disassembly....that X frame if it's the stock one is bowed...the pass door gap is probably over an inch...the b pillar is ripped from the floor and the floor is over....it's a mess honestly.....I wouldn't touch it for less than 75k
