muzzle brake for a 300 nm

so , i built a 300 norma on an mpr BA comp chassis . when i built it , i installed a Fat Bastard brake on it and it doesnt quite do the job well enough . The REcoil is fairly high and it doesnt really bother me but it keeps pulling my bipod off the arca no matter how hard i tighten it and it would be nice to get back on target a little easier . So , question is , what do you guys use on big magnums ?

I use a SS Pro brake from unknownmunitions or salmon river solutions. Seems to work great on 300 nmi.

Did you mess around with the gas port adjustments? Don't own one, but the adjustable gas system presumably can help with return to sight picture.

like i do all my other rifles . Ive never had an issue before but this is the 1st one ive had that used ARCA . Ive had a guy that a pretty accomplished shooter tell me it had unusual amounts of recoil as well . Not showing any pressure signs on brass and pushing 250s at low 2900s

If you like little costs goes up, Terminator muzzle brake. I use to .375 ct , really efficient works!

Drill and tap the ARCA rail just forward of the bi-pod mount. Insert a button head bolt from the bottom of the rail. The protruding head of the bolt will keep the bi-pod mount from sliding forward on the rail.

I would look at the piper brake. Corson piper won NF elr with his brake on a 300nm. Very accomplished shooter and machinist. He just released the brake for sale.

Or get a Magnus RR.
