Ended up throwing 1.5lbs of internal weights in the AT-XC. It's balancing much better now and hopefully this is all of the added weight I'll need going forward.
Spent some time shooting at 600y, light 6mph winds, very happy with the results as my rifle wasn’t set up for prone shooting and I was fireforming alpha brass

Yeah, it’s a little type 2 fun. We host year around here in Nebraska. Honestly, I kind of appreciate the “offseason” matches a little more. Everyone that comes out, just seems to be salt of the earth and tighter knit without the clicks.
During the match and post match. We have some heat going in our tower and someone usually makes grub & coffee. It’s a damn good time and a little different vibe than the fair weather matches.
Guys, would anyone be willing to part with their spare AWSM oldschool skins, i dont care about the colour. Just cant seem to get comfortable with the newer ones and the bigger cut out. I am on the edge of selling the rifle due to that. It just doesnt work near as good for me as the old ones.

How do you know what came with the rifle? How hard is it to remove and reinstall the new rail? I am self-admittedly challenged.

I bought the low.
It is on its way back to me with the high, to match the AX stock.

Without accessory rails up front but absolutely a scope rail.
Thought I remembered some shipping without scope rails. Getting older I guess. I see they all have them now as standard.
AWs used to be dovetail by default, and a picatinny rail was optional.
ATs always came with a low or high NV-compatible picatinny rail as far as I know.
ATs for quite sometime were sold without action rails, by MHSA.
From Euro Optic, the low rail was included.

I don't remember the rails not being included with the AT from MHSA, but I remember the low rail being standard and the high rail being optional. Maybe that was after the initial batch.
I remember, when I bought my AT from MH. They were not included. But they were from Euro. Since they weren’t included, I had them throw on the high action rail out of the gate.
I bought a 2021 AT from EO- came without a scope mount. EO had none in stock at the time so I got one from MHS.
And back to my original question - how much taller is the tall scope rail than the standard one?

I can't give an exact measurement as I sold my ATs several years ago and don't have both rails in front of me, but I think the tall version is about 1cm (0.400")-ish taller than the standard low rail.
You want the tall if you’re going to run the NV bridge.
MH told me that they are a quarter inch different. The photos above seem to substantiate this.
Can anyone tell me what torque value to use when installing the AT High Action rail? The manual provides no information that I can see.
