When I fall asleep tonight I’ll be sure to ask them. If they have any LH 300 WM AXMC bolts on the table I’ll snag a few for you as wellDo you know if the bolt heads would work on both LH and RH bolt bodies?

I've just recently shot in that temperature. My hands hurt like a MFer.My monthly check-in to the AI thread. Couple photos from the 15* club match we hosted yesterday.
Yeah, it’s a little type 2 fun. We host year around here in Nebraska. Honestly, I kind of appreciate the “offseason” matches a little more. Everyone that comes out, just seems to be salt of the earth and tighter knit without the clicks.I've just recently shot in that temperature. My hands hurt like a MFer.
It's a great compromise between recoil reduction and sound suppression. It makes shooting my 6.5 PRC off a tripod alot easier. I highly recommend one.How do you like that Magnus K-RR?
How do you know what came with the rifle? How hard is it to remove and reinstall the new rail? I am self-admittedly challenged. How much taller is the tall version of the AI AT scope rail than the low version?

Your AI came without a rail of any kind?My rifle came without one.
I bought the low.
It is on its way back to me with the high, to match the AX stock.
I am impatient to measure it myself.

Without accessory rails up front but absolutely a scope rail.I thought AT's shipped without rails?
Thought I remembered some shipping without scope rails. Getting older I guess. I see they all have them now as standard
ATs for quite sometime were sold without action rails, by MHSA.
From Euro Optic, the low rail was included.
I remember, when I bought my AT from MH. They were not included. But they were from Euro. Since they weren’t included, I had them throw on the high action rail out of the gate.Mile High's picatinny rails were probably on a 10 month backorder with AI, lol
I don't remember the rails not being included with the AT from MHSA, but I remember the low rail being standard and the high rail being optional. Maybe that was after the initial batch.
And back to my original question - how much taller is the tall scope rail than the standard one?
-Stan
Thank you!I can't give an exact measurement as I sold my ATs several years ago and don't have both rails in front of me, but I think the tall version is about 1cm (0.400")-ish taller than the standard low rail.
I have an AT with each. I’ll measure them and get back to youAnd back to my original question - how much taller is the tall scope rail than the standard one?

Thank you so much!
MH told me that they are a quarter inch different. The photos above seem to substantiate this.A bit less than a centimeter.
Can anyone tell me what torque value to use when installing the AT High Action rail? The manual provides no information that I can see.MH told me that they are a quarter inch different. The photos above seem to substantiate this.
Same as scope torques. I just did hand tight personally. Can anyone tell me what torque value to use when installing the AT High Action rail? The manual provides no information that I can see.
