I mean, damn. It’s a weak ass protein source. Eat some chicken or turkey.
It’s just like TP during the lockdowns. If there is a short supply of something that makes everyone want it, and the price goes up. I had like four dozen eggs in my fridge a month ago. I looked at my wife WTF. We don’t even eat that many eggs.

I use them for chicken and dumplings, this whole skinless/boneless craze makes prices insane, like people don't want to get their damn hands dirty
Most city people don't know how to quarter a chicken properly. I live in a small town about 45 minutes from the city.

The latest craze is spatchcocked chicken breasts. They are prepackaged and cost $2.50 per pound more. Your paying double or more. It takes 5 minutes to do. If you don't know how, there is YouTube.

It is sad.

looks to me like 127 members of the house have stolen some of the money, or they have friends and family that did.

shocking!

Figures released by the National Observatory on Violence against Women (Miprof) show that sexual violence in 2024 increased by 6 per cent over the previous year and 9 per cent over 2022 numbers.

Since 2016, after which France experienced a surge in mass migration, the figure is up by a whopping 86 per cent.

44 per cent of victims were located in the Paris region, with women being the victims on 91 per cent of occasions, with 75 per cent of victims being under the age of 30 and 36 per cent of those being minors.

some good news, stopping a land grab under the guise of 'green'. Now, make them give back the land.

South Dakota Stops Massive Green Energy Land Grab In Its Tracks

"Republican South Dakota Gov. Larry Rhoden signed a bill Thursday banning the use of eminent domain for carbon dioxide pipelines, ensuring land protections for farmers across the state.

The bill, HB 1052, prohibits the government seizure of land for C02 pipelines. This leaves the fate of Summit Carbon Solutions’ $9 billion, 2,500-mile pipeline project potentially hanging in the air, as South Dakota was a key player in the plan."

It's a great first step.

The real work is getting back to teaching the fundamentals of reading, writing, and mathematics.

I am also a big advocate of reinstituting wood and metal shop in Junior High school along with home economics. The whole stigma attached to attending a vocational high school versus a non-vocational, college prep program should be eliminated. Kids need to understand the basics of shop and home economics and be able to make an informed decision about their future.

I would wager that people of my age were much more prepared for life leaving Junior High than most kids leaving High School today.

Australia already imposes an across the board 10% GST (Goods and Services Tax, an import tax) as well as a 5% customs duty. https://go.shipbob.com/au/blog/import-taxes-australia/

How is their 15% tax on everything we sell them any different than a %15 tariff? It's not. They're not retaliating because they've been making anything Made in America cost 15% for forever. This is what people don't understand.

Trump is targeting import taxes, tariffs, whatever you want to call them (Europe calls it a VAT) because all of our supposedly "free: trading partners tax the shit out of everything we still make (which isn't much anymore).

This is an attempt to onshore American manufacturing, and it is likely going to be painful, but if we don't do it we are completely fucked. The globalist free trade bullshit, and it is bullshit, because we're the only ones who actually practice it, is to the detriment of own people.

Canada taxes the fuck out of our goods, which is why Trump went ballistic when they tried to threaten us. The Australians are much smarter, and will negotiate without making asses out of themselves.
