I recently put a 20” Shaw barrel on one of my Ar15’s. At the same time a Geissele ssa-e x trigger. I am very pleased with the accuracy and light recoil. Only using store bought ammo 32 grain. I have killed 7 coyotes with it recently and even 200 plus yard shots. I like it much better than the 18” 556 ba barrel that was on it. Now I am addicted to night hunting and go out almost every night.

262 yards. That’s a record for me. I know that’s not a big deal to lots of folks. I also got a sturdy tripod and am doing much better.

204 is underrated for sure. I just wish ADG, Alpha or Lapua brass was available for it.
Killed a lot of yotes on my property with the Berger 40

I am using the Hornady superformance 32. I have some 40 but the don’t group quite as good. I don’t reload or have the equipment. I have 80 acres that’s mostly open with two areas of woods. I don’t use a call much, just sit by a tree and watch. The thing that I really like is the flat trajectory since it is harder to judge distance accurately with the thermal.
