BegaraGumpa - something or other ( I just call him Grumpy - cause every time he posts a score it makes me grumpy)Man... you are making this downright difficult. ;-)
Hey Mr. Pudgy........I couldn’t get the app to score this - after many failed attempts- app scored this 89 - 123 - and 179 - I know it’s not a great target-but really app it’s not that horrible!!
Beginning to wonder if my barrels best days are behind it - roughly 8,000 rounds on it (since December) - not feeling nearly as tight as it used to
Pudgy, I assume you used your Bergara and Eley Tenex? If incorrect, I need the rifle and ammo sinfo so I can post your score.I couldn’t get the app to score this - after many failed attempts- app scored this 89 - 123 - and 179 - I know it’s not a great target-but really app it’s not that horrible!!

I'm including my only target for this month . . .
Yes it was B14r - tennex - VX5 scopePudgy, I assume you used your Bergara and Eley Tenex? If incorrect, I need the rifle and ammo sinfo so I can post your score.
Thanks!
Nicely done. I be Grumpy and you be Irritating. At this rate you are going to force me to retire and spend more time practicing.I just couldn’t leave well enough alone- had to try again- grabbed my 9 year old sons rifle with a better scope - waited for wind to settle a little and tried the unlimited again. Second attempt was a little better. -

John, you would move up to the Match Grade match. I have your score posted. It’s Spring and time for the range again.
Not proud of this but thought I’d get a score in for April.
Two lousy scores in a row. I definitely have an off lot of ammo compared to my previous scores and shoots.
May be my last shoot with the factory barrel.
View attachment 8662495I am planning to put a non factory barrel on from Whidden gun works.
When I do that, which match will I shoot?
Thanks
John
Thank you.John, you would move up to the Match Grade match. I have your score posted.
Thanks Jerry. I have your score posted. Good shooting with that Bergara...
Gdawg09, I have your scores posted.Hello Larry, Here's my effort from sunny California. Bit of a headwind today, but you can't argue with facts.
John, I have your score posted. Nice looking rifle!Good afternoon.
I shot my first Match Grade match today.
My new set up includes a new Criterion barrel from Whidden Gunworks. They took the blank and machined it for target match. I also had them to ammo test it to match me with the best ammo and lot at both 50 and 100 meters. The best match was Center X.
Whidden does a great job in their machining and customer service. I would recommend them to anyone needing a barrel.
The two shots I missed the 10 ring was due to me fighting a “floppy” target stand in a nice breeze today.
Otherwise I’m very satisfied that improvement lies ahead.

BillZ, I have your score posted. My initial target from my V22S with a new barrel, the MullerWorks 26” by DI David Lott with a modified Nevius chamber, was satisfactory. The chamber’s slightly larger shell area facilitates bullet alignment during engraving. I dedicated considerable time to optimizing the bolt to ensure consistent ignition. Further testing is required to determine if this modification enhances performance with different ammunition. Thus far, the results are satisfactory, not great.

I've always liked the looks of a stainless barrel on walnut.Good afternoon.
