You'd probably need to turn them upside down to make them work and they'd probably look kinda weird (if that matters). Most of the ATX weights ride low to add surface area for barricade shooting.

You could always look at the factory AXSR WinTac weights.
Thanks.. Yea I figured. So I went with the Win tac weights.

As stated they walk... Great for a light weight low volume firing. Plus i have had to send a couple back for atrocious factory chamber jobs
My straight contour 6.5 doesnt walk. But then again, it's a fat ass 1.200 all the way. And the 300NM prefit I got was chambered too tight and throat was too short. It would hit pressure with any load I give it. They wouldn't fix it. Had to beg a local smith to recut the freebore. Friend had a 6.5 steel barrel shoot perfect, but I have read so many stories lately about the prefits I wouldn't buy another.

Zeroing at 102yds versus 100yds makes no difference at 300yds according to my 4DOF data (1.12 vs 1.12, not even a hundredth).
I never zero super well anyway and I haven’t seen the issues you described in the video, Imo you’re shooting at small targets and you’re going to miss a couple. You mention there was also shooter error, I took the video as presenting the zero issue as the primary reason for missing and the shooter error as a contributing factor, only you know what really went on that day.

Edited to add: I did watch the entire video and enjoyed it, always nice to see AIs getting some love with good production value. This post to try to help you on your journey, not rip on you, you should’ve seen the stuff I’d obsess over before I just started shooting more long range!

Pics for the pic thread, was experimenting with Norma 168gn .308 at my buddy’s farm, it did great

I like that pic, man. It’s like a tan landshark in the shallows…hunting…

and this is coming from a sage green aficionado

Here’s a better crop etc, I think

Don't do it
Honestly don’t understand this. I could be way out of the loop but I’ve had 4 barrels from Proof, 3 prefit and one chambered by Dave Tooley and all 4 of them hammered period. I didn’t see anything walk with long strings and long strings of fire is my middle name.

I’ve had 2 x 6.5CM, 1 308 and 1 6CM.

How does the SR balance with short steel barrels vs long carbon fiber barrels? It doesn’t have to be perfect but I do sometimes like to use just a bag on my tripod and it always helps if the rifle balances on the bag….obviously

Pic to keep it legal
