That mouthy chick had about as real a dose of near death experience as it could have gotten. Absolutely no situational awareness to realize that she could have been dead right there, only that the guy with the gun wasn't interested in going after her at all. In the heat of whatever altercation was happening, he didn't even seem to notice her...

Once, going into a Target in the 'burbs of Dallas (years before they got super woke), a good friend of mine saw the cops swarm right in front of the door...people coming out totally ignorant to it. Literally walked by within 2 feet.

Myself, once in Florida I came home (ironically talking to that same friend) and there were at least 20 cop cars on the roads leading up the the apartment/townhome. Got in the complex, another 5. Children all playing right by the pool and tennis court where the helicopter began hovering 50 feet off the deck guy hanging out. ZERO awareness. Shortly thereafter, the perp was against the wall smashed hard by two HUGE cops. Broad daylight....central florida for ya.

Interesting that the officers have given up the high ground to the protesters and have instead chosen the undefendable low ground. Need to be a little smarter than this. Tactical advantage is a thing.
I'd like to know how many of these people are US Citizens. My guess is < 10%. At that point, we should declare that this is a hostile invasion and the 10% are guilty of sedition and are enemy combatants (though I think that went to SCOTUS under Bush).

If these were US Citizens protesting I'd be a bit more sympathetic to actually PROTESTING (not rioting) even if I disagree. Because the no-clot-shot folks could have been caught in a situation, truckers in Canada definitely were (no 1A there though). 1A cannot be trampled (though it is daily as we now have rules protecting the elite political class from even seeing protests with standoff zones under the name of safety [not liberty]). However, this is NOT a protest under any guise.

Yet, the press continues to be unable to distinguish an actual RIOT and INSURRECTION from the crap that happened on Jan 6 (though I'm not in support of just marching through buildings either for multiple reason- though we know within a degree of certainty it was a set-up).

Bring out the water (?) canons with that blue dye. Or maybe make it day-glow magenta dye indellible for 6months-1 year!! THIS malarky in KaliForni is 100% why we MUST, under all costs, control our own freaking border.

Or, when real bullets fly from the other side (arguably in every state with concealed carry they've displayed the use of deady force by tossing rocks nd scooters at moving vehicles) do the Guard members have authorization to shoot back? IIRC, Reagan allowed the use of real bullets in the 60s during the riots then.

WOW......
6500 for 4 days....... where do we sign up......Is it cash, or charge cards, like they were handing out to illegals?
do the 12500 people get extra for burning cars or is the extra 6,000 when you liberate product from stores?
Sounds like a money laundering scheme

What is the story surrounding these spaced out comments in the article?

"The new case accuses Chinese researcher Chengxuan Han of trying to smuggle packages containing concealed biological material related to round worms into the country by sending multiple packages that contain the material to a lab under the University of Michigan ahead of her arrival on June 8."

"She later allegedly admitted to sending the packages to the FBI, and that she lied about the packages to CBP. She also admitted it contained the biological material."

Those two sentences don't make sense. She is accused of sending the worms to a UM lab, but she allegedly admits to sending it to the FBI?

The Californios sent the last Governor from Mexico City packing in 1832, California was self-rule from 1832-1848 when the treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed, Statehood in 1850. So tired of Marxist Revisionist History. California did not hear of Mexican Independence until until 1822, so Mexico City rule for 10 years, home rule from 16 years and during that time the gold rush with 500,000 yanks arriving mostly in Northern California and massive trade with the Americans, prevailing winds made that possible and the Colorado River was a natural barrier for Spanish and Mexican into entry into California.
