i thought they were close in 2009, but obama did nothing to help them,

Man the last few f14s and now the classic helicopters are being vaporized

Those two F-14's had been sitting on the tarmac since 2022, one was visabily damaged, I don't believe either had flown in years.

Whats really sad is we cut nearly all of ours up to keep Iran from getting smuggled parts to keep theirs going. F-14 was a cool bird but it was maintenance intensive. Still its a shame more of them didn't make it to museums.

There are 3 different ton measurements. Short, Long and metric. 2000 2204 2240.
