I have a Varmint that I had threaded for a suppressor. 75gr ELDM at 2.49" (AICS mags) with NAMMO 5.56 brass and H4895, 3025 fps.
Just the 75 ELDM. I have a bunch of 77 TMK (thanks, Rokslide) but the 75 shoots so well I haven’t tried them.
This is my concern as well. I don’t see the benefit of 5 grains and slightly better BC.

Also 75gr ELDM's loaded to 0.020" off the lands, 2910 fps. At 2925 start getting ejector marks on Lapua brass.

How does a smith do that, technically? I know they successfully can do that with a pencil barrel, but have never researched how. I’m just curious.
I bought a t3x lite 300wm - then found the mag is only 3.350 shorter than even a sav mag. I read through some post here on aics mags and bottom metal where you cut the trigger face down and notch feed ramp -or not- to get to 3.500- sav mag length. which is still too short imo. maybe I didnt read enough post or misunderstood - is there no other options ? if not I may sell it without shooting it and move on back to Remington. any advice appreciated tia

Sell it and buy an appropriate action, no brainer, you can’t stretch it.
Once again, sell it, and buy or build something you want, don’t throw good money after bad
Put a 6.5 PRC barrel on it, recoil isn't that bad compared to a 6.5 Creedmoor.

Probably the world's most accurate Tikka T3 rifle, with the factory barrel.

They made these with better care and better quality control than now days.
This is also stainless, it is just cerakoted to black.
123gr Scenar does work very well up to 500-600 meters.
But i must say, that this and my all other rifles are way more accurate with the Ase Utra SL5i suppressor on the barrel.
It is 100% stainless steel, it just make my rifles so much better, all of them.
I now have 3 of these.

I have an older Tikka 3 Varmint (223) that when loaded with 80gr Amax and Varget will shoot in the.25 MOA range consistently. The outlier is a slightly lower poa. There are seven shots in that ragged hole. This group is at 200 yds. Three different loads. I won’t give this one up. I have it sighted in at 300 yds, its never failed on prairie dogs at that distance.

I have two Tac A1's that both seem well made. They also shoot best with a suppressor on, I'd say a solid 1/3 MOA if I do my bit. They seem to like Lapua bullets, I need to try some of the MaxRange Target bullets in them.

Seeing that they don't really seem to be available right now, I figured that is the closest that seems available. Figured you were wanting the heavier barrel and the 10 round mag. Those are the only ones that match. If you want to save some money lockedloaded.com has decent deals. Bought a few guns from them and had my coworker who has his ffl do the transfer.
