I need to invest in some Scantilly, clad artificial intelligence generation software, cause upwards of 30% of these images you guys post are suspect. I could make a lot of money.
In the beginning of the internet, I scored 50 out of 50 on the Playboy websites Real or Fake test. Today, all these years later, I'm old, tired and don't care, as long as they're pretty.

Hell, when I was first divorced came home to an empty house, Wall to wall, all light bulbs and furniture GONE
Left was a mattress, TV , roll of toilet paper, and phone. I was content as hell
Ditto.
Drove to Kmart and bought a lawn chair so I could say I had furniture.
Finally had some peace.

Mine was the apartment I got when I did finally move out. I had nothing but a sleeping bag and a pillow in one corner for that first week. Then I bought a table and chairs from Kmart so I could eat sitting down, and have a place to put my laptop. Little by little it got furnished, but I slept on that sleeping bag for months. Slept like a baby too.

I lived in Lawton Oklahoma, home of Ft. Sill. Most of the housing was built for the military. That is mild compared to a lot of what I saw. The inside walls of my house 2x4's were all turned sideways, I reckon to save just a bit, but try finding a door to fit into a 2.5" wall...1.5" of 2x4 and 1" of sheetrock. One long wall wasnt even secured to the slab, it would move 1" in and out. I finally pulled the baseboard off and used construction adhesive to glue it to the concrete.

Went into the attic and found an open junction box with half a dozen wires with out even wire nuts.

The plumbing? Dont get me started.

Pussy! A real man would have cut a hole in the drywall big enough for a hammer drill and anchored that wall properly! 😁

ETA... I actually would have and then just patched the rock.

Well the Datsun 2000 Roadster is almost done, at least my end. It's got to go to the engine shop for the engine install and chassis dyno. I made the oil system hoses block to filter to cooler and back to the block with no engine. I hope like hell it all works. That said this is the next project. 1965 Lotus 38 Indy Car.. It was a team car of Jimmy Clark's, not the 82 winning car. Just have the engine's the car will be here Aug. 1 when the Datsun leaves. This is a simple case of I have no clue, I've only seen pictures. I think I'm going to need a lot of pictures.
