Accessories For sale: Desert Tech SRS-A2 Carbon fiber rail

Just for anyone's questions, these things fit great. But a standard srs arca rail won't fit. I found one that's amazing and these things are rock solid. I love being able to swap barrels without having to remove my weights.

thank you! glad you like it. what ARCA rail is that?

What length barrel is required to have the shoulder outside the handguard? Sadly, my dominus is too chunky to fit inside the handguard.
22.5” I think it is. Even if you can’t fit the can inside and buy it as just an upgraded handguard, it’s worth it. The fit and finish is so much nicer feeling than the metal OEM rail. It’s also a lot more sturdy, and not nearly as flexible. Making it better to shoot off of the tripod.

I’m sure that’s all true. But if I can’t fit my can inside the handguard, then I won’t shoot the rifle lol

FTW not a jab at you at all, I wish I could make your handguard work. It looks excellent. It’s the cheapest option compared to buying a new Covert handguard, but sadly with my setup I just can’t make it workout with going with a longer barrel, or buying a new suppressor. Any chance for a covert length version?

I love mine, finally had a chance to install it.
One question for you, do standard length M Lok screws work? I have the 12” Area 419 rails, but I can’t get any of the M Loks to engage with the included hardware.
m-lock works just like any other m lock rail. You just need to put a little more force to pop the lock nut through the holes the tolerance on them is tight, but this also ensures a tighter fit for the rails and such. Once they are through they should work, i have learned that some m m lock screws are much longer than others and you sort of need to screw the lock nut down several turns so it can grab the m lock slot instead of just spinning above it.

Ah, that did it. I didn’t want to break my new rail but ultimately needed a lot of force and was not a concern that there is risk to the rail.

nahhh you wont break these. You could drive your car over one of these rails and it probably wouldn't break. They are made out of T700 carbon fiber. its like 4x stronger than normal carbon fiber. I smashed one with a 5# sledge hammer and it took quite a few hits before it cracked, and is still in full form. could mount it and still use it.

The more I play with it the more impressed I am with this rail. The weight difference is surprisingly noticeable. The extra size seems to stop the issue I was having with barrels hitting the M-lok screws during change too.

I prefer this rail + Area 419 rail to the SRS M2 model.
