2001 Suburban 4x4 with RCD lift ($2500) and 35's already on it. Tires and wheels alone would have cost $2500-3k (Moto Metal 17x9's and BF Goodrich 315/70r17's). Just $$$$ performance rebuilt the 4LSlippy (4L60e). Doing other delayed maintenance things (assorted bushings, axle/wheel bearings, pitman/idler arms etc). And of course nothing is ever complete without some kind of rattle can shit (wheels)
Up next is computer tune for the correct tire size, proper Mishimoto plug/play auxillary transmission cooler (not the $100 poors ebay/amazon 40K with all the jinky gay hose cutting/barb fittings), rear axle bearings and seals, rear transfer case output shaft seal, sway bar bushings, Kryptonite tie rods, new speakers, instrument cluster with transmission temp gauge, fan clutch. I'm probably gonna go up to 4.10 gears all around and Eaton Truetrac rear locker, and down to 33" tires in the future. The current 3.73's and 35's is definitely not ideal for towing plans in the relatively near-ish future.

Can the manufacturers bring back the "ball vent" I had in a 69 ford?
Love the ball vent
Yeah, I really love the GMT800 platform. The seats are, by far, superior to any other modern GM truck. Ive had a 2006 Sierra Denali, 2013 Silverado, then 2020 Silverado. The 2020 was having odd things happen which pointed to overall build quality issues..... sold that one last September, made a little money, and the search for the GMT800 began. Kinda wanted a 2500 Suburban/Yukon with the 6.0, but didn't have any 4x4 in my general area. Then this 1500 4x4/5.3L popped up for sale a mile away from me with this high quality lift kit, good tires, LT trim, leather seats, pretty good condition 2nd row captains chairs, perfect 3rd row bench, 800w Alpine amplifier,.....and a smoked Transmission. Too good to pass up. They wanted $2500, I got them down to $1800.Had one of those (2500) with ambulance doors for a work vehicle. I loved it. Fuel pumps and power steering pumps were ways failing on them though.
My 2020 was a Trail Boss. Going off road and climbing trails was indeed cheating.2021 Trail Boss with a few mods, 2023 Camaro 2SS 1LE that hardly gets driven but is fun as hell, 2007 Wrangler for mobbing through the woods, and this fox body is torn down for paint and body work, it’ll have a 331 stroker, T-5 and nothing stock basically.
