I'd love to see more of his type "retire,' but the question is are we talking "frying pan ---> Fire" scenarios? Could whoever succeeds him be even worse? I can't believe he'd retire if there was any concern that a GOP Senator could actually flip the seat. Look at Sen. Feinstein.
