I do everything. Depending on caliber if I have the insert I can trim.Do you trim necks?
Know anyone near you that reloads? It really is not difficult, it is just a series of steps. If a friend lets you load some using their ( or yours if possible) equipment, it becomes very clear what to do and what not do as they watch you and explain it. Buy them a pizza and you will be set.Tag for when I soon go down the road of reloading my own ammo now that I've gotten into long range shooting and $2 or so per trigger pull adds up really damn quick! Started saving all my brass now. It just feels so overwhelming knowing nothing about reloading, but I just need to take the leap.
Do you let us specify temp for brass and can you control depth of brass heating down the brass to a specification?still around still prepping brass for the masses. let me know what you got and i will get your brass squared away for you.
I use a bench source annealer. I have no way of measuring temp of the brass as it’s being annealed and I refuse to put templaq on anyone’s brass.Do you let us specify temp for brass and can you control depth of brass heating down the brass to a specification?
I know it is harder to anneal shorter cases like dasher brass than it is to anneal 308 brass. So long as I can get lengths, chamfer, and temps to my specs; I would be happy to send you some.
Dave does a great job. I get 3-6 SDs on Dasher & BR which are plenty for PRS. I have multiple firings and the annealing keeps it very consistent. You will have to experiment the bushing size to get the neck tension that works for youI use a bench source annealer. You send along 2 cases that are sized to your specs and I will match those. I use a Henderson to trim, chamfer and deburr the brass. As I do not run a dasher I ask you send you bushing die along with it and I will obviously send it back.
I prep your brass as it were my own.
I do dasher in bulk for another member on here @sachsmart . He is a prs shooter and if you go through the posts he will vouch for my work. Single digit SD’s on what I prep for him and consistent.
I’ve probably prepped 4000+ rounds of a mix of br & dasher for him since 2021.
Happen to be using a SAC die? I have a 266 bushing right now. Shooting for 3 thou tension, but I have not worked through the new alpha brass pile yet to need to anneal it again.Dave does a great job. That’s easy enough. no i use what ever die you provide. especially if its a bushing die. I typically have the annealing done the same day the brass shows up. then send it back the nextHappen to be using a SAC die? I have a 266 bushing right now.
