Fine is a big time rino. at times he,like other rinos,comes up with a good plan. this should get in. it won't. if the lt thinks about it,it has nothing to do with practicing Islam. you can still do that. this has to do with making laws generated by the worst parts of it illegal. all of those are contrary to our constitution and inalienable rights. the lt will shit itself over this of course.stop more from coming or it doesn't matter what you're doing today. it can all be undone when there are enough of them.
BTW English should be made the official and only language in the US. NOTHING from any gov-contracts,road signs,voting,etc,etc. want to talk Urdu to your people at home or in public? sure,why not? NOTHING to or from ANY gov in anything but English.
Every time we take my MIL in for an emergency, they want to run batteries of tests to determine why sometimes when she suddenly stands up she faints. They are looking for this or looking for that, and what stops them in their track is my one simple question. What are you going to do if you find it? I point out at 92 she won't survive whatever treatment you are going to perform. The normal response is 'well at least we would know'. Again I point out she won't survive their treatment. After she stabilizes, we sign her out AMA (against medical advice). They HATE that.

exactly. in my 40yrs i have seen diagnostics usually always take precedence over therapeutics. esp true in ICU. the risk and work of the testing eg transporting someone to CT who is on a vent and 8 drips never an issue. at least for those writing the order. what are we gonna do with the info? who knows usually? gets more confused with advanced age like your MIL.
in defense of the system. there has been for decades the concept of "defensive" medicine. search for,then do everything imaginable to avoid any law suits generated by a bad outcome. this is also very profitable. but,also very real as bad outcomes always attract lawyers. at least 3 gens of DRs have been trained in this mindset. the very few i have seen that go contrary are all felt to be on the edge of standard practice.

(I was bed ridden in my teens for a few days and did not feel like drinking and or eating. When I got up to hit the bathroom, I made it halfway through the bedroom before everything went dark. Not really. She has what she calls 'spells'. The BP drops and stabilizes in about 30 minutes. She won't remember it later that day. My hypothesis is her veins aren't stopping the blood from draining down to her feet and the blood pools in her lower extremities and starves the brain, so she passes out.
This is why she lives here. When she lived alone, she fell and broke her hip and was on the floor for 2 days before my wife found her.
Again, it doesn't matter what they find, she won't survive a surgery, so It's really a moot point. The bad news is she's not that much older than me.

I'm 59 and have been dealing with this for 30+ years. Sometimes I go completely out, once I was 25' up in a treestand. Last time was about 6 months ago, leaving my urologists office. Happened about 3 years ago while I was sitting in the ER with my wife, a nurse was in the room at the time. Years ago I went thru a shitload of tests, even saw a neurosurgeon a few times. No answers.
It's been happening a lot more frequently lately. Standing, sitting, eaten or not, doesn't make a difference. Last month I was walking out to the mailbox, had to stop and lean on my truck. My doc has me checking my BP daily, lowest I've recorded was 75/57. And I'm on day 10 of 14 wearing a cardiac event monitor. I think I've pushed the button 8 times.
