It wasn’t the Romans that crucified him, it was the Jews, and Jesus was a Jew himself. They hated him because he claimed to be God, and they still deny that he is God. The Bible teaches us that the Jews will eventually turn back to Jesus about the same time the the whole world turns against them. I also believe in America first, but America is losing my respect with their evil and debauchery. So I am actually not America first-I’m Christian, and I’m Jesus and his kingdom first. America won’t survive. It will burn just like the rest. We are probably closer to the end than most even know.

I'll bite since I don't lay claim to being "Christian" and have met very few I would consider worthy of claiming the title. First clue, many of them don't believe they deserve the title ... truly ... not false modesty.
But you shouldn't be astounded. The bible is written or cobbled together in such a way that it will help someone find "the path" or expose their true selves through how they spread "the word".
Most of Jesus' own words are very tolerant and nearly always they come from a place of teaching and acceptance. Because that's what really works. That's what really reaches people. But, it works for both good and evil. When kids don't feel accepted at home they WILL find someone who accepts them. All too often they find acceptance in counterculture. There's a reason for the recurring theme of the "preacher's daughter" who's never good enough at home.
But a few of the Apostles are a bit more heavy handed with the rebuke, retribution and damnation talk. Some people focus on this and it becomes the message they deliver in the name of Jesus/God. More of a "if you don't comply you will never see eternal life".
I believe some take strong opinions as “literal violence” but this is how men debate and hash things out. I don’t agree with name calling outside of understood terms about the topic but that has been minimal really.
We need to understand that while the Gospel is the most important, other things could have dire consequences if misunderstood. The very Elect could be deceived because of a failure to grasp things in their correct context.

Being a Christian doesn't mean you're perfect. That is not how it works, no one is or ever will be.
There are alot of bad christans out there who treat people like shit.
