If I remember correctly, didn't he say there were going to be design tweaks to the chassis earlier this year?Anyone have a Zealot chassis yet?
Go chirp up Terry in his thread and see how quickly you get removed from the site.
Really? Been there done that, exception is this not a large product development effort. This is a typical sports related, small (bigger than a garage smaller than a tractor) development effort. Is a bit over his head, sure, does he owe us ANYTHING, no. Would it be nice, sure, and is there a risk to not talking yes. That said I have in similar situations where I was just heads down and slightly embarrassed by the situation. In reality he has already given us a working solution, which can be improved with a small additional investment. This is just par for the course in the shooting world, live with it.I sure can tell that there are a number in this thread who, like Paul, haven't a fucking clue how to project manage a customer product development and release.![]()
this is what I did and it was here with in a week no problem. Did the whole calibration of theManaged to establish comms and have ordered the electronics and V3 parts as a stop gap.

And ignorant cunts are....yeah, still cunts. And yeah, I'm talking about you, you ignorant bigot.Entitled cunts are entitled.
No one owes you a damn fucking thing. Nothing was promised to you 3000 years ago.And ignorant cunts are....yeah, still cunts. And yeah, I'm talking about you, you ignorant bigot.

"Minimally, in this case everyone on the list is owed reasonable communications and delivery dates that don't slip like a watermelon seed pressed in your fingers."You don't have a contract with IP, there was no consideration. Just because you can't plan ahead and now you're stuck trickling kernels with tweezers doesn't mean he owes you anything.
Sir (and I use that term very loosely) this babble has strained even my definition of worthless drivel. Your sense of Entitlement is exceeded only by that of the far left former presidents. your protests simply demonstrate that you have not learned anything since you demanded a "graduation diploma " for passing Kindergarten. I you don't like the conduct to leave, simple as that. I don't need a V3, I have a Harrells on a stand right next to my scale. I drop a low charge and the new trickler just completes the charge, takes about 11 seconds. For me that is way faster than my pre trickler set up.Yeah, really.
And I disagree with you....he does owe us....we are his fucking market base that HE solicited for pre-orders (yeah, no cost...I get it) and hence set expectations for his...wait for it...customers.
As for the size of the project, that's inconsequential. The basic tenets of scheduling, risk ID and mitigation, and customer communications remain valid no matter the size of the project.
I have never suggested that he create a job cost accounting system, detailed manpower plan, or even a work break down structure (though the later may have been useful to keep him on track).
Frankly I find the defense of his lack of performance and communications to his customers based on lack of pre-payment to be both myopic and disingenuous.
As for a working solution.....you see many V3's around for sale? Or are you suggesting a V4 (nah, not a shim kind of guy) or a manual dropper coupled with his trickler and ginning up some sort of fixture to hold it all together? TBH, if one of the people who have made solid fixtures for a manual dropper and IP Trickler offered a shrink wrapped package of same, I'd move away from Paul in a NY and buy one.
Have a brilliant day.
Says the 3 month old kitten who just sees it'self like that right after that trip to the vetAnd ignorant cunts are....yeah, still cunts. And yeah, I'm talking about you, you ignorant bigot.

This is no longer true. I messaged Paul about a week ago............nothing but crickets since. You must be doing something wrong. I’ve never waited more than a few hours to get a response from him.
Shhhhhh..........I like watching. This thread is exhausting. It used to be entertaining for me to watch the back and forth but I'm just over it now. On one side you have people beating a dead horse about poor communication and missed deadline and on the other hand you have virtue signaling about entitlement or lack thereof. For fuck sake this post will be #1264 in thread #2 about this shit... My opinion for both sides of this argument, move on! There is obviously nothing to see here folks! I will be occasionally checking for actual product updates but other than that I'm not interested. I have already wasted enough time watching the same guys go back and forth about the same god damn thing 173 times... Just my 2 cents which I know nobody could give two shits about. I just can't be the only one who thinks this...

Whenever you're feeling down, ladies, go back and watch Temu Gavin's video and remember—"It'sfinallyalmost here!"
Cup half full: 2 years ago, we were getting a Dixie cup, sans handle; now we're getting a real 3D printing plastic powder cup with a handle. Trust the process.
Agreed. That's the point I was making, sir. Good things come to those who wait (2.5 years). The cup actually has a soft bottom which keeps kernels from bouncing. It’s a fantastic product.
For sure an A++ on the cup.. I even enabled a friend to get one.Agreed, the IP cup is one of the best reloading cup designs ever made with its soft, flexible, replaceable absorbing bottom. I run 2 A&D/IP setups and Ive never bounced a kernel out to date over many months of extensive use .
I cant say the same about the pile of other popular brand cups I have here...
SameI use the glass one from the scale never have had a kernel of powder jump out.....
I confess. When disappointed with the delays, I'll check the site to see if there is another target date posted that we'll miss and I watch the video Paul posted on the product page where he's dropping 100grs of something or other—largest variance was ~0.02gr and he absolutely nailed like 3-4 in a row @ 100.00 w/ an extruded powder weighing twice or more than the variance with blazing speed...and I'm sucked right back in.I check this thread like once every few months to see if there’s any news, since I signed up for the notification list for this product a couple of times and I’ve never heard anything back. It’s a shit show every time lol I should stop visiting.
did you email him ? I've never had him not reply or even call me right away. This is no longer true. I messaged Paul about a week ago............nothing but crickets since.
yeah but watch them do it on a shitty scale ala Chargemaster and charge $699 and sell at ton of them.Watch it finally come out, I bet Hornady will have the Alibaba version the following January at ShotShow. Steve, are you reading this?
I texted his cell phone. No reply.did you email him ? I've never had him not reply or even call me right away.
I assume you are referring to the black bracket and mount that replaced the prior stand that would sit to the side of the scale. Those won't be used when and if the bulk thrower ever ships. Those 3d parts are for use with a V3 thrower or a manual powder measure (like I'm currently using cause I don't own a V3) and eliminate the need for the side stand. Big improvement over the side stand.the initial design had higher quality materials. As time went on, the materials got cheaper. Looks like more 3d printed plastic than in any of the “its finally here” videos.
The powder hopper and the shield have also been bastardized by a 3D printer. Not showstoppers, of course, purely cosmetic, but the cost of inputs are going down dramatically, while the cost of final outputs are being held constant. I think @FNG1001 is right in his observations about lower quality materials since Paul made the decision to bring it all in-house/garage.I assume you are referring to the black bracket and mount that replaced the prior stand that would sit to the side of the scale. we'll get what we get and we'll pay what we'll pay and we'll like it.
If there is one thing the SUPERSPILLER guys got right, it was outsourcing a contract for a legitimate plastic housing for the apparatusThe powder hopper and the shield have also been bastardized by a 3D printer. I'd dig out the old pictures from years ago, but it's moot—we'll get what we get and we'll pay what we'll pay and we'll like it.
I would email him if I needed something. I'm pretty sure he has a regular job too and it can be very difficult to keep up with texts if you deal with vendors and stuff via text.I texted his cell phone. No reply.
I assume you mean the SuperTrickler. But yes, they were very good at production and even servicing here in the US. I give Peter a ton of credit - even with that darn tube, he’s been able to program that thing so it performs pretty darn well. There’s a beta test thread on Facebook which is pretty active with people constantly trying tweaks. And while physically limited and hard to operate (tweaking is like flying a plane), probably one of the best machines out there and for me it was better than my V4. However the disc trickler and the timed drop with bushings for the main powder drop is a better design because you aren’t fighting physics. However one is available and one is not (in its entirety). If there is one thing the SUPERSPILLER guys got right, it was outsourcing a contract for a legitimate plastic housing for the apparatus
They have their own foibles and warts, but that dude in Denmark knew how to do actual manufacturing and deliver a dialed final product notwithstanding it’s being hobbled by that vibratory tube which is its Achilles heel
Yeah, they did put out nice finished product but ultimately Paul's is the only top performer that is reliably trickling on point. I don't know what the issue is or why he's moved to 3d printing so much stuff but I assume he's tired of dealing with contracts that constantly misfire on him. I have been on the order since the beginning and I have a v3 with IP so it's not a huge deal for me to wait.I assume you mean the SuperTrickler. I’m not sure I see 3D printing as a cheaper alternative for recurring costs for the hopper than injection molding…of course non-recurring for the mold is $$.If there is one thing the SUPERSPILLER guys got right, it was outsourcing a contract for a legitimate plastic housing for the apparatus

I bet dramworx would gladly make them. Especially if they had a few guaranteed orders. I had sent them an email sometime ago and they said once they got one in their hands they would. I offered mine whenever I got it to be the guinea pig. They said they would likely get dimensions from Paul and make them.I’m not sure I see 3D printing as a cheaper alternative for recurring costs for the hopper than injection molding…of course non-recurring for the mold is $$.
I’m not a plastics manf guy but wow…at retail qty that 3D filament is fairly pricy.
If this thing ever ships, someone will come up w a better hopper (glass?) as aftermarket stuff…maybe w a 3D collar for the interface to the dropper.
The answer is always yes, buy new stuff!!!Yeah, they did put out nice finished product but ultimately Paul's is the only top performer that is reliably trickling on point. Question for those who also have. V3, should I go ahead and get the electronics and stand and cup? I've been waiting to just get the whole new system but since I broke my housing set up (I glued it back together and it works but I can't stand looking at broken stuff), I've been really itching to get the new stuff that is available until the whole thing is ready.
Question for those who also have. V3, should I go ahead and get the electronics and stand and cup?
second that.Absolutely yes.
No offense, but you’re on the wrong forum. Your “expert analysis” of product development would be better served on the Tesla Roadster Gen 2 forum.I sure can tell that there are a number in this thread who, like Paul, haven't a fucking clue how to project manage a customer product development and release.![]()
I have the manual throw which might be faster because it’s set to a certain weight and I’m the motor and faster than than it (the disadvantage is pulling a lever). I think what might make the V3 version faster than say an ST or V4 is that it’s just more accurate and makes a lot less overthrows. Curious as to the experience of those with the V3.Honest question, is the hybrid system with the V3, IP Trickler and IP electronics faster?
Honest question, is the hybrid system with the V3, IP Trickler and IP electronics faster? I have everything minus the electronics.
