Ingenuity Powder System

I sure can tell that there are a number in this thread who, like Paul, haven't a fucking clue how to project manage a customer product development and release. 🙄
Really? Been there done that, exception is this not a large product development effort. This is a typical sports related, small (bigger than a garage smaller than a tractor) development effort. Is a bit over his head, sure, does he owe us ANYTHING, no. Would it be nice, sure, and is there a risk to not talking yes. That said I have in similar situations where I was just heads down and slightly embarrassed by the situation. In reality he has already given us a working solution, which can be improved with a small additional investment. This is just par for the course in the shooting world, live with it.

Managed to establish comms and have ordered the electronics and V3 parts as a stop gap.
this is what I did and it was here with in a week no problem. Did the whole calibration of the
fx120i that I already had, not sure if needed but just in case. The app seems ok but I think is more
set up for the main dropper everyone is waiting for so I have not much time messing with it.

Yeah, really.

And I disagree with you....he does owe us....we are his fucking market base that HE solicited for pre-orders (yeah, no cost...I get it) and hence set expectations for his...wait for it...customers.

As for the size of the project, that's inconsequential. The basic tenets of scheduling, risk ID and mitigation, and customer communications remain valid no matter the size of the project.

I have never suggested that he create a job cost accounting system, detailed manpower plan, or even a work break down structure (though the later may have been useful to keep him on track).

Frankly I find the defense of his lack of performance and communications to his customers based on lack of pre-payment to be both myopic and disingenuous.

As for a working solution.....you see many V3's around for sale? Or are you suggesting a V4 (nah, not a shim kind of guy) or a manual dropper coupled with his trickler and ginning up some sort of fixture to hold it all together? TBH, if one of the people who have made solid fixtures for a manual dropper and IP Trickler offered a shrink wrapped package of same, I'd move away from Paul in a NY and buy one.

Have a brilliant day.

You don't have a contract with IP, there was no consideration. Just because you can't plan ahead and now you're stuck trickling kernels with tweezers doesn't mean he owes you anything.
"Minimally, in this case everyone on the list is owed reasonable communications and delivery dates that don't slip like a watermelon seed pressed in your fingers."

Having said that, no-one is being convinced in either direction. So I'll leave it at that.

Sir (and I use that term very loosely) this babble has strained even my definition of worthless drivel. Your sense of Entitlement is exceeded only by that of the far left former presidents. your protests simply demonstrate that you have not learned anything since you demanded a "graduation diploma " for passing Kindergarten. I you don't like the conduct to leave, simple as that. I don't need a V3, I have a Harrells on a stand right next to my scale. I drop a low charge and the new trickler just completes the charge, takes about 11 seconds. For me that is way faster than my pre trickler set up.
As far as communication goes, could it be better, sure, but so what. Man up dude, you truthfully sound like a 5yr old wanting a new toy. Well you ain't my kid, but if this the way you run things off line, what a pussy!

This thread is exhausting. It used to be entertaining for me to watch the back and forth but I'm just over it now. On one side you have people beating a dead horse about poor communication and missed deadline and on the other hand you have virtue signaling about entitlement or lack thereof. For fuck sake this post will be #1264 in thread #2 about this shit... My opinion for both sides of this argument, move on! There is obviously nothing to see here folks! I will be occasionally checking for actual product updates but other than that I'm not interested. I have already wasted enough time watching the same guys go back and forth about the same god damn thing 173 times... Just my 2 cents which I know nobody could give two shits about. I just can't be the only one who thinks this...

Come back and post #1364 just to keep it going, please. Every little bit helps!

From a person on one of those sides….well said, my friend

Whenever you're feeling down, ladies, go back and watch Temu Gavin's video and remember—"It's finally almost here!"

Cup half full: 2 years ago, we were getting a Dixie cup, sans handle; now we're getting a real 3D printing plastic powder cup with a handle. Trust the process.

The cup actually has a soft bottom which keeps kernels from bouncing. It’s a fantastic product.

Agreed, the IP cup is one of the best reloading cup designs ever made with its soft, flexible, replaceable absorbing bottom. I run 2 A&D/IP setups and Ive never bounced a kernel out to date over many months of extensive use .

I cant say the same about the pile of other popular brand cups I have here...

I’ve had zillions with both glass and the Area419 aluminum.

I check this thread like once every few months to see if there’s any news, since I signed up for the notification list for this product a couple of times and I’ve never heard anything back. It’s a shit show every time lol I should stop visiting.

I confess. When disappointed with the delays, I'll check the site to see if there is another target date posted that we'll miss and I watch the video Paul posted on the product page where he's dropping 100grs of something or other—largest variance was ~0.02gr and he absolutely nailed like 3-4 in a row @ 100.00 w/ an extruded powder weighing twice or more than the variance with blazing speed...and I'm sucked right back in. :)
