Brazilian man Enrique dos Santos,35, a swimming pool attendant, was trying to look like superhero The Hulk but used a paint reserved for ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines.


Incredible ... it started as a prank but now he's staying green
The comic book fan tried to scrub off the glossy green in the shower, but the substance stained his skin

Depending on how deep the dye reached in the layers of skin, I'd guess a few weeks to a full month. It will likely disappear in splotches because not all of his skin will be at the same stage of growth and replacement.


Due to his natural skin tone gradually reappearing, he might look like camo for a little bit. LOL

In the article it says it came off after friends took rotations scrubbing for a full 24 hours. I bet he was pretty raw at that point, lol.

I know at the Boeing plant in Everett Wa. that they paint the aluminum skins with green paint/dye very similar to this guys color.

As a primer type stuff before putting the customers colors on the plane. Same stuff?

Very likely not the same stuff, though there is a paint used in aviation that's almost the exact same shade. I wouldn't want that color all over my skin not because of the appearance reason, but because that same color aviation grade paint is zinc chromate primer. Not the kind of stuff you want hanging out on your skin for any length of time.

Either way, the lesson is the same - learn from this guy, and unless you're using body paint on your body, don't paint your skin green with paint from a can.
