    - Printed a Form 4 directly from the ATF website (PDF document)
    - Completed this Form 4, and sent it in along my payment
    - Waited SIX fucking months

My dealer just received the rejection letter today. They won't accept my Form 4 because it was not printed on both the front and back of each piece of paper.

Blame your dealer, they should be giving you the paperwork.

My dealer gives me a completed form before I walk out the door. All I do is sign it, then mail it with my check. All the forms are supplied at the time of purchase.

He has it computerized and it filed out correctly the first time, it's in the mail before I get home.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

My dealer signs both form 4's and hands them to me saying "here, you fill this out. You do this more than I do."

Perhaps an indication of a slight class 3 problem?

This is what I do, no reason not to do it for the customers. It takes maybe 10min. We send them it for them too.

Glock24- Good news is you only have about a week maybe two until it is approved.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

Its also stated in the instructions that it must be front and back. No need to blame the dealer. When it comes to Nfa stuff, you need to follow the directions to a t.

100% correct, hell you can even glue em together (done it) and the atf will have em approved in a week or two... re-submit em and you'll be good to go in short time.

Glock24, shoot me a PM and I'll give you my dealer's number. He knows what he is doing.

</div></div> Hey, I have done that before. I resubmitted and had it quickly back to ATF and the stamp within two weeks. It will be OK, it happens all the time and a lesson learned.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

My Sheriffs office totally screwed their portion of my form up. It was sent back as a result. I took it back to the Sheriffs office and had them un-fuck it, sending it back that same day. It was approved 8 days after I mailed it.

its not really a technicality, its just following the instructions. they will have it back to him soon. the whole wait time was to get to the front of the line.

On another NFA PISSING ME OFF...My retarded dealer got raided. ATF went in and took all the suppressors of course. My stamp arrives and they ATF, have to know all my paperwork and transactions were by the book. But they are being lazy and inconsiderate and keeping my can till trial.

I have had my stamp for over a month. it's just bullshit. ATF knows there is no issue with mine, they just don't give a fuck about doing the right thing.

so you have had your can for a month, but they took it from you because of the dealer you bought it from?

No, sounds like they took the cans before he got his approved form back.

That also sounds off, because the approved Form 4 should go to the dealer.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

had something similar happen to me. we sent it back corrected and it was approved the day she got it. (about 5 days later)

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

I left out the certification of citizenship once, ATF called the dealer who called me. I got the paper filled out and they even let me fax it in. Stamp came within a week.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

Yes, I got the stamp. Never had the can yet. It's weird how the STAMP came to me. ATF knew to route the Stamp directly to me.

I called and left Special Agent ...a call and left message last week. No call back.

    Re: Absolutely infuriated with ATF

It's your stamp, you paid the tax. ATF seizing NFA items until trial is standard cop work by the book. It might be labeled, "Evidence" if the dealer got it by crooked means.
