I shot my 5R at 1,400 yards with AMAX 208's. Those bullets are impressive. Hitting steel 24x36. But clustered most hits in 10 inch group.
I bought some RWS BRASS, and 73 grains of H-1000. It crunched a little in the RWS as its less volume brass. Did not chrono, it was rainy as hell.
I went 4 for 8 on my first string and 3 for 6. My last string was a complete embarrassment. Wind ate my ass. I was about 1 for 6. Don't even remember I missed so much. Was getting tired. We wore out our 308's before that.
