Let me know how that works out would you please? I'm curious about unloading a few items as well and would like to feel like I made some cash but not so much that I end up selling to major Hassan, Jared Loughner or some other criminal, insane or otherwise illegal possessor of forearms.

did not make it out.the place was under water from what i was told,and the last time it was flooded he got his loader stuck and had to pull it out with his bulldozer.and his dozer doesn't have the tracks on it now,so it would suck to get stuck with no way out.

But i did make it down to bass pro shop for some new reloading gear.

won't be making it out any time soon more projects around the house
Finish the deck
Finish the siding on the house
AND Finish my reloading room/office

SO no fun for me,will have to catch up with you guys in a few weeks

I like the stands.

The straps look like they want to slide, giving the steel the chance to twist about thus giving the appearance of mocking and taunting to shooters who frown on that sort of thing!

I find myself wanting to shoot them even now!

I'll be there running Hornady 178 HPBTs (Just finished loading up a couple hunnerd), some 175 SMKs and 155 SMK (2156).

All loaded up and ready, should be a really nice day.

Al, James, sorry you can't make it.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH Man what a great range day!

Magnificent weather, strong easterly wind and loads that were money in two rifles!

I ran some 178s, 155s (SMK 2156 and AMAX), and some blemished 180 grain Hornady Interbond bullets I picked up from Midway.

Many hits on many steel targets in the wind!

Thanks for letting me run your rifle: that glass is amazing, the loads are excellent and your rifle is too!

Good stuff on Sunday QQ! Even though the wind was up quite a bit, we were still puttin rounds on steel. What a great sound! Even the .223 got its fair share of the action.

Good stuff QQ! If I remember right your your 175 load is 44.6 of Varget right? I went back and looked at my load data for Varget and a 175 smk and I have 44.5 written down... pretty dang cool! Ill have to play with my 178 amax loads as I have them at 42.5 of Varget. They seem really accurate at that amount.

With the RL-15 im at 43.4 with a coal of 2.825. It seems to be a pretty accurate load. Ive thought about pumping it up to 44 to see how it goes. Maybee Ill do that for the next trip out.

Speaking of the next trip out. When does everybody want to get together again?

Oh Ren, by the way sorry I haven't said much. I tend to watch from afar. (It's Steve, you met my father and I several months ago, just in case you don't remember me!)

As far as the rest of you guys I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting any of you. Will try to make it to the next meet up if thats cool with everyone

Looks like you changed your screen name. What 300 did you end up with? Im going to try and make it this weekend,Sunday wow... two weekends in a Row!

It was pretty dry, well, dry-er than what it was. We were able to run the golf cart down the the 565 burm. From what I understand that area was underwater two weeks ago.

Oh yes, I did. I wasn't really feeling the original and I figured nobody would really notice because I'm not all that active on here like most.

I had Woody build a Remington 700 in .300 Win Mag a while back and I threw it in an AICS. I haven't been able to do much with it because I have been waiting to get in some glass I ordered from LaRue, it just arrived so now I'm raring to go!

I just have some factory stuff to send down range but that'll do until I can break down and start reloading.

Tic-Tac,

If you come early on sunday I can let you try a couple of my 300 reloads. Woodie rebarreled mine so they should have the same chamber.

I usually run lane around 8-12. I'll have my steel up at 400 this time.

Hey man thank you! What time do you normally get there? I live pretty close to the range so it's not as difficult for me to make plans and drive all the way there as it is for you guys. (One nice thing about my location.. Not much else.. haha)
