Rifle Scopes NF moar or NF np R2

im hunting for my 4th NF anyone can help me decide coz i dont have any experience on moar but R1and R2s only..whats ther to gain? which better for a long range shooting (target only) i understand R2 cross is thinner than moar, but im inetrested to know what is broken reticle all about..the thicker cross hair on moar does it matter?

one well known NF dealer selling me 5.5-22x56 in MOAR is a demo/display version..for 1600.00 is that worthed? no ZS but its HS

My first and second NXS was NP-R2, the third was NP-R1, and the one I have now is the MOAR 5.5-22x56 HS ZS and <span style="font-style: italic">in my opinion</span>, it's the superior reticle. I would say reticle thickness is somewhere in between the R1 and R2.

I have both and if I'm shooting at small targets on paper at 400 to 1K, I feel the NP-R1 fine reticle is better. The MOAR seems better suited for steel, reactive targets, etc. I will say the MOAR pops out at you quicker for faster acquisition.

I Like the NP-R2, don't have any experience with the MOAR..

@killshot i think yout wrong on the reticle size.R1 has .065 and R2 has .062 moar has .125
ty guys..im more like a punchin paper i might stick to r2 or r1..by the way new 5.5-22x56 HS moar for 1570 shipped is that a deal..well its a display inside a glass showcase

I have a MOAR in 3.5 x 15/HS/ZS and I have friends who shoot the NPR-1 and I really find the MOAR to be a much better reticle. It is the NPR-1 taken to the next level in my opinion. It is easy to pick up on in the field. As this is also my first Nightforce I am very pleased with the clarity of the optic. And, I have zero stops with USO and a Vortex Razor and I really like Nightforce's the best thus far. In my mind it is a win-win. The only other thing that would be great is the FFP but I can guess I could shell out more money and get the F1.

As I stated in my post, I said it "looks" to be somewhere between the R1 and R2. I no longer own either of those optics so, I don't know.
