Best price for 55gr FMJ pulled right now

I've been cruising around the various sites like Wideners, Pat's, and Gunbroker looking for the best price on pulled 55gr and 62gr plinking bullets for .223. One guy said $70 per thousand with flat rate shipping up to 5k for $16. Just wanted to check if anyone here had a beter spot before placing an order. Thanks, Dan

If you buy 3500 from montana golden bullet they are shipped for 80 per 1k...minimum 3500 for 295 shipped of 55grn FMJ

Oh and also they are new not pulled but they are their own brand not lake city if its LC or nothing

tough to beat the deal on hornady 55 FMJ bulk by the box of 6000 - a little more than .08 each

I should go for the 6k Hornadys. I didn't want to drop that much at one time but depending on the results in November, they could get a lot worse. I've never heard about Montana Golden Bullet but they seem pretty reasonable as well.

with the wars dwindling down there are just less reject lots to pull, this stuff is becoming tighter and tighter. so get while the gettin is good

I guess you didnt calculate what I put up....0.08 a bullet shipped and you dont have to buy 6K....3500 to get the deal....

Montana Gold claims their Ballistics for the 55gr. FMJ-BT is the same as the Hornady. The MG's actually look a little better than the Hornady's. I just ordered a case of them yesterday from Montana Gold which are shipped via USPS, included in price.

Also ordered a case of their 124gr JHP's in 9mm. I've been shooting their bullets for the last 5 years exclusively in my .223 and 9mm loads. The results are great and I have seen no reason to experiment with any other bullets.

I did not worry about the 6000 - I got 12000 any way - to go with the 48 lbs of wc844 and tula SR primers

it makes a nice load for about .14

Suppressor Junkie - when I looked at their website, it appeared they were limiting 55 FMJ orders to 2000. You seeing the same thing?

I believe that's "two cases of 3500".

I have a case on the way and if the limit was 2,000 then it would be a little short

yeah limit 2 cases of 3500...295 for 3500 shipped...I woulnt think the 2 case limit applies the 1k cases but it would be silly to buy two 1k cases anyway
