Bought this rifle used. Remington 700 S/A .308 with a 26 inch M24/M40 contour barrel. It had a McMillan M40 stock in black that I sold. I bought the HS Precision stock from a fellow Hide member, and had it duracoated by Mr. Larson at LTM Refinishing in GAP desert camo.
I want to eventually get another Mcmillan stock in woodland HTG camo so I can switch out stocks every now and then so I can have an M40 and an M24 - style rifle.
Still need to do some work on this rifle, but I thought I'd post what I have. Need to get some outdoor pics.

This is my duty rifle. Rem 700 SPS tactical in .308. I have a McMillan a3-5 stock on order to replace the hogue stock. It's wearing a Leupold mark 4 lrt 8.5-25x50.
Here is my newest addition. It's a McMillan Tac .338. It's a bit under powered right now on the scope for the round but I'll rectify that as soon as I think the wife won't have another coronary on the price. It's wearing a Vortex Viper PST 4-16x50 ffp scope on a Leupold 20 MOA base.

If you wish a honest answer - don't know
All I did have was some specific wishes to my gun smith and this is the result.
To tell you the truth this was supposed to be my long range gun for competitions and some hunting but became my primary choice. It groups amazingly and I couldn't ask for anything more

Here is my Alberta Tactical Rifle. It is a trued Remington 700 short action mounted in to an AICS chassis with a Rock Creek M40 contour barrel with a 1-11.27" twist chambered in 308. The 2 targets were shot at 300 yards. They measure 1.2" & 1.3" for 5 shots.
