Wheezy I went with a 20" in .308, I haven't gotten my rifle yet, but now I'm kinda wishing I would have gone 22". Not a big deal really but with a rifle your gonna shoot off the bench or prone 95% of the time cus it's heavy why not go with the longer barrel and an extra 60 f.p.s.
By the way Brokers rifle is badass!!

I also use mine in matches, and the extra 2" in weight really doesn't make enough difference to leave me wishing I went with a 20" when I get a little extra down range. I believe in MAXIMUM potential and if that means going to full 22" then hell to the f#$in yeah... besides, if it's too heavy then it can always be a motivator to work out lol...

Update on my GAP 10 build, ordered it in August and still have not received the long awaited phone call saying its ready. However Dustin Lassiter, from GA, has kept in contact with me and advised they are absolutely swamped but working round the clock there.
I knew when I ordered in August it would be a 6 to 8 month wait. I would wait as long as I had to, to receive the perfect build that I know they are more than capable of.
If anyone is needing to speak with a GA member I would advise emailing them.

Looks like the window is getting smaller.
Sic65stang got his in about 8 months.
Robinc got his in 6 months.
And 78steeler in 5 1/2 months.
I wonder how different the configs were and how muh that effects the timeline?

we were cooking right along, then CT shooting pushed us back to 4-6 months now if you order today your looking at 8 months. in a couple more weeks if the volume keeps up 10 months.
Id venture a guess that Aug and September and October orders will all be delivered by the end of Feb. we will get November- Dec rifles finished in March to mid April. Then The 200+ orders we took end of Dec to now kick in then its anyones guess. most will be 4-6 months which puts us into July-Aug for compleation.
Just a Guess. There is no way to predict it in a certain mannor.

Well if all goes well I should be getting the call in March, excellent. I cannot wait, even though I am overseas just knowing the gun will have been transfered to me and sitting at home is enough.

My question is along the same lines, I inquired about additional mags at the time of my order and did not get a response. At the time it wasn't huge not knowing what lie ahead for mags. Now in hindsight I wish I would have pushed the issue at the time.
So what is going to take place for additional mags ordered or requested?

I am one happy camper to say that I will be placing my order next week on a 6mm CM. I had to get my dtech sold before I could take the plung. The wait time is somewhat of a bummer but it won't be the 1st time I've had too. It took 55 weeks when I bought the wssm. Xmas in Oct-Nov will work for me. Until then I will just drool... on all of yours.

I am glad I got it when I did. The price has just gone up. I am sure this is to try to slow down the number of orders they are getting. I blame Obama. I wanted to get it in 260 but they eat up the barrel to fast. Plus if the shit hit the fan, .308 are found everywhere. I am hoping since my GAP-10 is so standard that it will take about 8 months instead of the 10 months I was quoted.
