Range Report 110 FCPHS 338 LM 300 Accubonds

decided to try the Noslers and at 100 yards they shoot as good as the Lapua Scenars,,

Savage 110 FCP-HSPrecision 338 LM 4.5-14 LR/M1

Lapua brass,Fed 215 primers and one group each 87,88,and 89 grs H1000,,I dont see the need of pushing any harder and ruining my brass,much less my surgically repaired rotator cuff,,

gonna load up some more of these and stretch them out a little.

I ran some of the 300 accubonds through my Desert Tactical Arms SRS last week.
Got several 3" groups @ 500 yds with 90.0grs of H-1000

I am gonna back up and punt,,not gonna waste any more powder until I get the head space tools and get it set right,,

2600fps, 300 accubond, 90.0 H-1000
TYPO- 2700 fps

that seems very slow for 90 grains of H1000 and 300 grain bullet

I get 2640 FPS with 90.0 H1000 and Berger 300 OTM's.

Friend that shoots 2838fps with a 28" Bartlein MTU, 1-9.7" and the 300 OTM's pushed by 91 of H1000....

that is why I made the comment.

2790 fps with 92.0 H-100 and Berger 300 Hunter Elite, 3.5" group @ 500 yds, but 4 of them where in 2"!
