So what is the latest Model #'s for the "Gen2" 3-21x and other Elite scopes etc

assuming the HDMR and DMR are the Gen1??

Thanks

They are not called Gen 2, you can still get the original HDMR and its still called the HDMR

The New offering is called the ERS product #'s are ET315215GZ (BLACK) and ET315215GZA (FDE)

XRS is the New 4x30-50mm

Thanks A10X and Joop - i know they are not necessarily "Gen2" and why i quoted that in my post, but trying to figure out what the real differences are beyond the Reticles naturally.

Differences being the zero stop, 10 mil revolutions per turn instead of 5. Everything else is same, optic quality, construction...

That was give me by Liberty Optics.

Just an FYI:

I just got mine. On the side of the box, the model number is: ET35215GZ (note there's only one "1", even though Bushnell's site shows otherwise).

ETA: First impression: I'm blown away. Wow, what a scope!

Where did you get it from? Wonder why the model # is different than what Bushnell has on their site?

Scott (Liberty Optics) listed the one dealer sample that he had on the trader. I bought it from him.

Thanks - trying to decide whether to go back to NF NXS , the Razor HD, or move on to Premier or The BEAST NF, or Kahles new model??. Hummm, tired of losing money on gear that didn't work for me and/or the need to sell due to bills.

The Henny was the most 'user friendly' - and will not go back to USO.

I have the 3.5-21x and after considering s&b and kahles, gonna give the new XRS a try based on quality and value.

I Just got one of the 5 mil G2DMRs from Scott @LO last week, and Im pretty damn impressed with it. Ive cycled through some different glass in the past couple years:USO, S&B 4-16, SWFA HD and with this one I feel they really hammered the price vs. quality mark. Was my PMII better? in some ways sure, but in some not, especially in the reticle and mag range dept (was before the 3-20). . and paying $2000 more for it certainly wasnt better.

Im looking forward to seeing the 4-30 w/G2DMR as I have been legitimately impressed with this one.

If you would have told me 2 years ago that I would be not only strapping a Bushnell to a custom rifle, but would actually be stoked about it. I would have probably laughed outright. . . yet here I am.

S&B has been the gold standard for our industry and yes I have owned 2 S&B's myself. Yet, when a company steps up to support the "shooting/tactical" industry the way Bushnell has you have to pay attention. No doubt about the quality of S&B, but with competition now catering to what we want at a price point most will accept is hard to ignore. S&B is way overpriced, their support is almost non-existent, and warrenty is negligible when comparing a 1 year no questions asked return and lifetime on repair/ replace on product for Bushnell. Not to mention the scopes themselves, outstanding reticle choices, widest magnification range, etc.

Someone's listening...

I also heard Bushnell will take it back and return your money for any reason, even if you just don't like it. I believe that's called a win, win situation. And that's all "Bullet Proof Warranty" products

Ditto. I bought my 3.5-21 G2DMR from Scott at Liberty Optics as well. If you're used to other Bushnell glass, even in the Elite lines, the Elite Tactical is a whole different animal, glass that comes close to rivaling Schott. They really stepped up to the plate on this one, and yes, with the 1 year guarantee, no questions asked, can you really go wrong?

I heard that the first run of XRS 4-30x50 will be March 19,2013 FFP should be 1999.99 and one bad ass scope ET45305GZ

Yes, first batch will be shipping the 19th. Bushnell says the MSRP is 3K and change but whoever is advertising them now has them at 2149.00. I myself was able to get my hands on several that I'm waiting for........2 more weeks!!!!! I just keep hearing great things about these more and more each day, sayings like "game changer" but we'll see for ourselves.

intereresting, i dont think 3 grand will pass. at shot show they said 2,000.00 guess we will see what the market will bare... should be a real winner

Just asked about the XRS. It was originally March 16th but as of this morning 200 XRS are still scheduled for the 19th. Hoping they don't push it up

great comments y'all. much appreciated. Still pondering the PR, newest bushys, NXS, or back to the Razor HD......

Even the rep was surprised to say 3 grand, he quickly replied "Yah but that's not going to be what there gonna sell for". So I think they just set a ridiculous price and figured let the retailers figure it out.

Theres one for sale in the optics section,,, BNIB 2020.00 $$

I just got mine today, $2020 shipped NIB from another Hide member in on the group buy.

No tunneling with a 6.66 magnification range (S&B, are you listening?), very little shrouding at the upper and lower limits of the erector travel, clear glass, nice turrets. The G2DMR reticle works well even at 30x, with very fine stadia in the center.
I can't believe it's going to be snowing with 23 MPH winds tomorrow; it was beautiful today, but I didn't have a brand new scope mounted up then either.

Joe

Found out today the ERS in FDE also have a ship date of March 19th. Price is only $80 less, I guess they have a greater demand for that FDE. Still worth getting at least one.

Bushnell will be pricing themselves out of the market at 3K for the XRS. Glad the salesperson is aware that the market won't bare anything close to that price.

At around 2K, it's reasonable for the quality and the fact that they're coming out with the FDE it's even more pimp!

That was give me by Liberty Optics.

I'm seeing almost a 50% increase in price from the dealer I normally purchase from for the same scope but with a zero stop and 10mil per revolution. No difference in optical quality?

How crazy would a guy have to be to trade a NF F1 for a Bushnell 3-21 in FDE? Few years ago, it would be a retarded thing to even say... but I've been thinking about it. Thoughts?

I know people that traded their S&B and bought a couple of 3-21s. It's all based on your expectations and what you value for a good scope.

I have a 3-21 hdmr and considered getting a Kahles or S&B but at the end, still going for a 2nd Bushnell, not because they're better but because it's a good value.
