I'm all up for a 2-gun,... I'd be happy to let someone borrow my CZ 452 Bolt-Action and Ruger Mark III 22/45 Lite - Volquartzen trigger,... red-dot site,.... ahhahhhahhahhah (best Homer Simpson),... it's pretty sweet :)

I asked that the matches at Upper Nisqually be set for the third Saturday of the month in hopes that there would be the least conflict with other matches by having matches on that date. This is the first time the club has asked us to use a different date, and I want the group to gain a reputation of cooperation rather than being perceived as uncooperative and grouchy.

I sincerely apologize if change of the April match date causes conflict, as that was not my intent. Hopefully we will get back onto our "regularly scheduled programming" after the April match.

Have fun shooting regardless of where you shoot.

Keep the pressure up on your representatives! Looks like the do-nothing background check is getting stalled. Get a few more to waffle and listen to a wee bit o common sense.

FYI Bruno's shooters supply is showing 8lb kegs of H4350 in stock for 177 or so plus shipping and hazmat. Shit I thought I'd found a fat hog when I picked up several 1lbers of same @ $30 each last weekend.

If you can't find the wood locally, try Gilmer wood company in Portland, Or. They are one of the largest suppliers and importers of exotic woods in the country. They supply instrument, knife makers, and all sorts of people looking for exotic woods. I used to shop there for fancy wood to use on knife handles.

jcwarrior, I sent you a PM, I was the guy with the stock. That stock was built on a piece of maple put of southern OR that Joel Russo had in stock.

We had a good match out at UNSC today, the weather decided to cooperate with us and hold off the rain until we were finished with the match. I had a lot of fun running my first match and I want to thank everyone who attended today for making everything go smoothly (except my screw up on stage 3's round count!). A few of the stages were much more difficult than I thought they would be, but everyone had fun and shot well.

There was a possible 42 points in 480 seconds.

Here are the scores, times and type of rilfe:

1st: AtOne- 25 points 405.72 seconds - bolt
2nd: blurry6- 24 points 425.68 seconds - bolt
3rd: Silverbullet- 23 points 419.49 seconds - bolt
4th: Shellback77- 22 points 436.04 seconds - bolt
5th:KevinD- 11 points 282.58 seconds - semi
6th: Kris- 11 points 420.88 seconds - bolt
7th: Vipers28- 7 points 420.72 seconds - bolt

I want to remind everyone that the next match is going to be on April 6th at UNSC. I will post a reminder again before the next match as well as the course of fire.

Great match and Kevin did an awesome job setting up and running things smooth as silk ! Thanks for filling in.
Weather was great and the COF was plenty challenging enough. Offhand is always difficult but a good thing to practice without a doubt especially when those points counted for 2 for each hit.

Mike and I spent part of time at work last week building the evil twin barricades and got to give them a run though today. More than pleased with how they turned out and they'll give quite a few options for setting up when we're finished with them.

Here's Blurry in action

They can be used separate or together. Here's some optional set ups which will include turning the whole thing into a staircase down the road and a possible rooftop too. Planning on using removable dowels to join them up for easy set up.

BR Pivot Shooting Bench

This is the Cadillac of shooting benches. Well built and durable, this bench has a large top, a comfortable seat, and swivels 360 degrees. The three legs have swiveling feet for uneven surfaces, and each leg has adjustment built in. All metal is powder coated. This is the one Rick built before he sold the rights to Caldwell, so it's slightly different. A bit lighter, too.

$500, available for pickup in the Wenatchee area. I'll set it up and post pics this weekend. I can meet you at the Plumber's Cup, I'll be RO there. Not really looking for trades, but will listen.

I'd do it! And if we don't have anyone qualified in our group, I know a few Rappel Masters who would probably be willing to make it happen... Just sayin'...

Yes I whould have to give that stage a shot, right after I ducktape the top of my underware to make sure I didnt get any unwanted fluids running down my face...

I'll take a DNF on that stage, thank you,... but I'd be happy to hold the rope for anyone,... ;)

Its a damn good thing he's wearing a helmet just in case that harness comes loose, Safety first lol.

Well, looks like I get to be the first to congratulate Jim on another great match and Jesse on winning it.

Weather was as perfect as NCW gets in late March, sunny almost all day, breeze to maybe 6 mph that quit entirely later, and mid 40's or so. Made for great shooting. Was good to see a lot of faces, and I'll see some of you again in Kettle Falls.

Thanks Jim for the match it was a great time and the RO's were great. I also need to thank Matt Kollman for the slot, without his generosity I would have been sitting on the side lines again.

Thank you Jim and all the RO's what a fantastic match!

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Adam Rhodes?

No worries, brother. Glad to do it. Conratulations on your top 10 finish (6th I think...)

Thanks again Jim for putting this match together, and thanks to all the ROs that sat out shooting the match and helped make it happen. The match ran very smooth and was plenty challenging, wind was next to nothing for Wenatchee which is why we saw some very high scores.

The Precision Tactical targets ring like a bell, very cool to see those up close and the qiality of the targets and target holders, I will be purchasing a few for sure.

(glad you made the trip down to shoot with us) that camera was a bit distracting for you :), glad everyone had a good time & it was nice to eat dinner and chat it up with you guys. :( never enough time to check out the stocks, optics, yack & have a drink.

Did sit around with Kirk & Scott at home and unwind with guy & gun talk. Always welcome to crash at my place guys.

hey guys I am hunting for some AA2200. If any one has some they are willing to sell or know of some on the shelf let me know. I have a new rifle that that stuff is said to be the ticket in.
