Graf 175's?

Graf states 3-4 weeks to process order, additional 2 weeks if powder is part of your order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

D give them a call and see, i did not see any specs (bc etc) on their website. I am curious to what they are, because the weights correspond to Sierra bullets, but their other offerings are in weird offweight bullets like a 7.62 Nagant semi wad cutter, and some 8mm bullet.

As for the wait, yes they are two to three weeks behind. I just ordered a spotting scope and they shipped right at three weeks. I get dealer pricing with Grafs, so I will wait as long as I have to.

how does one get dealer pricing with Grafs???

^^ exactly, get your c&R licence, even if you dont want to purchase WWII era firearms, sks's (yugo 59/66) over the internet, places like Grafs and Midwayusa give dealer pricing. Here is the link, ATF Online - Forms - ATF F 5310.16 Instructions . You can now use the form from the internet, back when I applied you had to mail them a letter and they mailed the app. Using some google-fu you can find step by step instructions on how to fill it out. I suggest that, as some of the fields can be confusing and you dont want the app to get kicked back. It take around 3 months to process.

That's why I was wondering if anyone had shot them, there is definitely a lack of info on the site. I will call and see what the B.C. is. I'm always working right around Firestone/Erie... Where do you shoot?

I tried to call them today but got no one to the phone. Looks like a good plinking bullet

I saw those and thought about getting a few hundred for plinking also but I didn't because of the lack of info. I am new to reloading so I will be doing everything by the book and I couldn't find any info on these.

If I had to bet they are very similar to a SMK or possibly a Hornady BTHP, was going to try to get someone on the phone before ordering but it looks like I may have to take a shot in the dark

+1. The C&R license is a great investment and relatively hassle free. If you get one, and do like old guns (like I do), make sure you buy a bigger gun safe. You will need it. The temptation of buying guns online at dealer cost and having them sent to my house was just to great to resist. FWIW, it took 30 days to process when I initially got my C&R and when I renewed it.

I'm checking on specs...I'll post them if it becomes available. I've ordered them regardless of the specs as I'll use them days that don't require precision such as plinking, steel or bad weather days.

I was looking for some info on these things. I saw the BC and SD are the same as the 175 SMK, but it seems too good to be true.

Just got some in and they look identical to the 175smk I already have. They weigh the same and from measuring quite a few the majority measure 1.250" where most of the smk measure at 1.245"
Looks like they might just be smk blems?? I am going to load some just as I would my smk and see if the groups hold true.
Also, it took less than 2 weeks to get them. Ordered them on the 4th and received today.

just got mine in...will be shooting some this weekend. Unfortunately I won't be doing extremely accurate shooting...just some plinking

Looking to follow up on these bullets. Those who have tried them, what are you opinions? Food for thought about things that are under Graf's name, they do a lot of stuff with Hornady, such as produce ammunition for them. Still I am curious. Thanks.

I ordered some .224 77gr bullets on this sale...
I have no proof, but I suspect they're Sierra "seconds". Several years ago, I got some .308 168's from Grafs, and asked them where they came from - they told me they are factory seconds but the company "with the green logo" doesn't want them to advertise them by name on the "seconds". I'm just guessing, but I suspect these are the same source.

Wish I could afford more than a few hundred of 'em...
