Came across a box of bullets at plinking prices.
5 boxes of Sierra international match 168g and a bunch of loose bullets with a Sierra Santa FeSprings receipt for 20# at $44.50 plus tax. About 833 bullets mathematically.
Looks like the loose bullets are indeed 168 international (same as the current 168’s 2200 I understand).
Two of the boxes have 168’s, but 3 have FMJ bullets weighing about 174-175g on my scale. They have an open base and look to me like M72/M118 “173g” pills. They show signs of being in cases, but no pull marks. 3 had a little tar sealer on them.
Can anyone confirm these as the M72/M118? The shape and boat tail look correct. Thanks and enjoy my find.
