southwest 175 R&G vs copper creek gas gun load?

I would get what ever is available. I've had an order in with Copper Creek for months and haven't heard a thing. It's really tough right now to get any good match .308.

yeah me too since months ago, last I heard from them they don't have brass... for how long who knows... I get home in a month so I need a backup plan... I got a few boxes of 7.62x51mm NATO - Rifle Ammunition to test out but at that price even if it shoots in the same hole at 1k yds I don't think I will be getting any more of that as far as bulk orders are concerned... and its hard to be sneaky from overseas so I couldn't get reloading gear because my fiancé is worse than customs with packages coming to the house lol

Bulk Ammo has Federal GMM 168 HPBT 200 round cases and 500 round cases and SouthWest Ammo has 175smk run&gun in stock.

Don't listen to everything you hear, all of Southwest Ammo are good to go. I have shot a few hundred rounds of different grains in my .308 from SouthWest and never had a single failure and was accurate as any Factory name bullet out there. My only problem is that the only range any where around me that lets me shoot my .308 is only out to 50 yards. Can't wait next month to try it out to 200 yards, this range is 100 miles from me and there is no other range in my state that goes past 300 yards, at least to my knowledge.

I have never shot anything from Copper Creek. Once things return to some semblance of normal, I will probably order some of their ammo to try out. It gets good reviews from what I've read.
I have bought several hundred rounds from Southwest (all 175LR). I have an order for 400 more rounds in right now.

I had a bone stock DPMS SASS that would eat everything I put through it EXCEPT the SW 175LR. It just wouldn't eject the stuff. I could run a mag of FGMM or Hornady match (even Winchester hunting ammo) and mix in a couple of rounds of SW175LR and it would jam almost every time it came to the SW round......there was just something about it. Get this: if I fed the rifle one round of SW175LR at a time, it would shoot 1/2" 5-shot groups all day long, so the stuff was definitely accurate.....it just wouldn't eject 80% of the time. It was frustrating as hell. You can lose confidence in a weapon really quick.

I still shoot SW ammo pretty much exclusively, just not through my gasser.

Because gassers can be a little finicky, buy a box or two of different ammos and see which one groups AND feeds best through your gun. I bought a few hundred rounds of SW175LR and found out my SASS hated it. Save yourself a bunch of hair-pulling and buy a box or two and then make your big purchase when you've found what your gun likes.

I have purchased over 1000 rounds of SW .308 so far; 168 and 175 match (including 200 rounds of the SW 175LR mentioned above), and run-n-gun in both weights. I shoot a DPMS LR308 and have run about 400 through it so far, some of everything I listed above. Not a single failure of any sort and more accurate than I can hold. So far I've only shot out to 300, but this stuff shoots as good as FGMM and Black Hills in my rifle. I'm avidly awaiting the SW head-stamped pre-order now.

Plus it's available.

If I were you, I wouldn't hesitate a minute to order the run-n-gun. If your gasser doesn't like it, many of us here would be happy to take it off your hands. :)

Your good to go with copper creek or swammo. Shot both of numerous calibers through several rifles and its all quality.

Thanks guys I went ahead and got the run&gun, best price, and available and you guys say it shoots good... Sounds like a deal to me and if not, like mentioned above, somebody will want it or ill just use it in my sps aac-sd..

Copper creek gas gun ammo shoots good along with all their other ammo. I ordered from them before I got my reloading setup, you could place your order and have it within a week most generally before last December.
