Background:
Picked up a TRG42 in 300wm, wanted a break a little slimmer than factory, ran across the surefire line on midway, said it fit the trg42. So I waited for the in stock notice and then bought the thing.
Well I am all ready to put it on this morning and now I read the package and it say 338 caliber. So my hole is too big, right (.030" by my quick morning math)
Questions:
1. Am I really going to loose any effectiveness of the break?
2. Later if I did get a suppressor am I going to have to change out the break, because this one fits a 338 can?
MB338SS02 is the part number.
wrench in hand at the moment.
factory break (which I have, also not mounted) exit diameter is .400"
sure fire exit diameter is .345"
