Sling Recommendations for Flush Cups

Lads and lasses,
I am expecting the arrival of a long-awaited KMW Sentinel, here, in the not-too-distant future. From the description, it comes with a number of flush cups embedded in it. On that note, with as many competitions as I have shot these last 4 years, I still have yet to purchase a sling (I know, I know).

Any recommendations on a decent sling, around the 50-100.00 range, or do I need to up the ante on this too? I saw some of the TAB's on Rifle's Only's website, they appear to be a quality product. Anything else I should consider? Primarily, this rifle is used for competing and maybe hunting...

Also, I guess the issue is not so much Sentinel-specific, as it is relating to flush cup-specific. If any Sentinel owners happen to chime in on what works for them, that would be great, but I'll consider the sentiments of you McMillanites (I guess that would include the Sentinel too?), Mannersites, and any other flush cup-laden stocks I did not name.

Much appreciated.

I just got my TAB Elite, yesterday. I think it's worth the money and if I were to have a stock like yours, with the intent of shooting tactical style comps from multiple positions, it would be worth it's weight in gold. It really offers a lot of options and with the available conversion kits, it really opens up your options for fast positional changes that are going to allow you to deploy the sling quicker and in positions that may not be possible with some other slings. That's just my opinion. But, in any case, I think they're worth a serious look.

Try Magpul slings with their unique end clips. Very strong and foolproof when "locked" with the clever slide lock. They will work with flat or round sling swivels.

I have one on my FN PS90 carbine and will get another style for my HS Precision rifle when the re-build is finished.

I really like the TIS quick cuff quick release. It is well made, looks nice and provides a lot of options

The TIS quick cuff sling get's my vote, well made, very durable and plenty of options.
Have tried many different types and it's still my preference, but that is still a personal opinion as many other things.
If you have the possibility try a few of the more popular ones and find out what suits you the best.

I think I'm going to try out the mountain shooter sling Lowlight reviewed on the homepage. It looks ideal for positional shooting.

I have several of the TAB slings, and like them.

I also have a 1907-style sling set up with GrovTec heavy-duty pushbutton swivels. That works, too.

It appears TAB is a favorite with Hiders. Someone recommended the TIS because of the "quick cuff." Do any of the TAB's offer something similar?

Also, I am somewhat confused about these "fastex" buckles and AustiAlpin buckles. Are these buckles that attach to various points on the sling? I guess I am trying to ask where these buckles fit in in regards to my need for flush cups? Does that make sense? Told you guys I'm confused!!

I appreciate the help.

did a little cut and past from the product description on my site , hope this helps

It can be removed and connected to itself for easy storage allowing the remaining two sections of the sling to attach like a carry strap with shooting loop still in place. The reasons for the two buckles are two fold. First is allows the shooter to get out of the sling quickly because regardless of how you sling your rifle there is an accessible buckle you can unclip in order to get the rifle into action quickly. Second it is designed to allow the removal of a rifle from an injured soldier or person incase he is incapacitated. The rear section of the sling has a 5" section of three layers of webbing triple stitched together and is stiff enough to use as a hasty rear support.
