Joe, you must of had a chance to use a Timberwolf at some point haven't you. I was able to run a few threw one of the Canadians and spent some time finger fucking it and talking with them about it. They were very happy with it as a whole, slight issue with the screws on the Mcmillan cheek piece as sometimes happens. But they are very nice and well built (as most know). I do have to say that that rifle has always stuck in my head a one of the nicest I have had a chance to shoot.

I wish I could help you out on the importer. However why don't you email Ross, he would know...

Hua, no shit. good info!

I don't think RiflesOnly has worked with PGW for some time. I spoke with Ross (the owner) about this 6-12 months ago, and he said that PGW was in the process of putting in a facility in the North or South Dakota area to import their product.

Ok I just sent an email to R.O.

I hope they do get set up to import them. I would definitely like to get one. I know there are a few in the U.S. but they are rare birds.

I just got an email from Ross. He said you purchase directly from him (PGW). Your chosen FFL forwards his/her FFL to PGW's importer who is located in Washington state. It adds $350 to the cost of the rifle. I can forward the email to anyone that would want it.

I sent Ross a email too, I shot tuscondave's coyote years ago and it's one of my favorite actions ever. I'm not a fan of their magazines, I wanted to get a action from them and have it built in the us. We'll see what he says.

They are the nicest precision rifles I own, I have 3, a .308 Coyote, .338 Timberwolf and a .50 LRT
Ross is awesome to deal with !!

very nice collection,i'm jealous!i'm waiting for my 260 rem coyote since february..
i order mine directly through PGW,Ross take care of all the export permits, very nice to deal with!
but so long!

Trigger Time in LongMont CO was bringing in some PGW rifles but was having just as hard time as RO was back in the day.

Anyone who deals with them really has a tough time

They at least sold the Timberwolf and Coyote actions previously so i assume they still do.
If i remember correct i got quoted 2700$ for the action, they're generally sold with scope rail, bottom metal and magazine and a bedding block.
One day i will have one mated to a KMW Sentinel stock.
But have other projects to finish first, and the hassle with getting everything done, imported and exported to Europe is quite time consuming and costly.

Will look quite similar to this when i once get it done.

I have been dealing with Ross at PGW for awhile and own 3 of thier
rifles LRT-3, Timberwolf in PGW folder 45MOA Night/ Day rail and a C-18 .308 prototype for the CF training rifle. It uses the Timberwolf action and folder with 45MOA Night/Day rail but with .308 bolt face and chamber/ 24" barrel. Shoots amazing love it!

I am very happy with all 3 of my PGWs but the customer service I have recieved since day one is incredible! Ross always goes above and beyond and not just for me but the many customers I have sent his way all feel the same!

A cool little story Ross and one of his sons race MX and are big Ryan Villopoto fans. So Ross made contact with Ryan and built him a customized LRT-3 .50BMG in Cadex chassis and engraved it with his Championship win for that year.

Here's a pic of Rob Furlong (world record holder of longest kill shot with .50BMG) showing a new shooter the PGW LRT-3. This pic is from the Canadian International Sniper Concentration held at Gagetown every year this is a demo day. Rob uses PGW rifles for his shooting school.

well of course, isn't this GAA? (Gun addicts anonymous)

You could say this is a support group but we go about things differently here ;) as you already know...

I have wanted a PGW since shooting one years ago but, the more pics of these PGW's are posted the more I want one! Damn this support group is working.

title changed as i answered my question :D

This isn't going to help... HAHA

But I do have a question about the PGW actions and bedding. Are they flat bottomed and what is recoil lug arrangement? Also what does the PGWDTI-Titanium Cantilever Monoblock look like? So some pics under their skirt would be cool. I said I would never own a 90 degree action again but hearing that it is not a total PITA to get a PGW into the U.S. is changing my mind...

jbell I've shot dave's coyote, their guns are absolutely awesome. evidently the only ones they build now are the ones in the chassis. George says you can make them work with other bottom metals and stocks. Ross was awesome over the email and answered all my questions. I'm not the biggest fan of their chassis but a GAP, or other smith built PGW action would be awesome. Or just buy a barreled action from PGW and have it bedded in your choice of stock and bottom metal if you want their barrel etc.

Got ya, I didn't realize they only offered the chassis now or that they would sell a BA. The barreled action seems to be a good way to go. I was just wandering if they were doing anything crazy different with the cantilever monoblock bedding. The Timberwolf I shot was pretty sweet as well it was an issued rifle to the Canadian sniper team that came down for the International Sniper Comp in 05' I think. I am pretty sure they were using a PGW suppressor it was equally impressive. Did Ross give you a ballpark time on delivery (if you asked)? I am also interested in what trigger they use whether it be one they make or an aftermarket and how does it attach? Did you get any of that info or maybe its common knowledge and I am just out of touch sorry if so?

trigger they use is a jewell, he said they are happy to sell the action, whatever.

Thanks again for the info, I thought it may have been a Jewell but could not remember for sure.
