Thanks for posting that! I shot in one of these matches last August and it was a blast. They had a Berger bullets rep out there and #1 and #2 both won 300 free bullets of their choice, #3 won a reloading manual. I was in a shoot off for second and lost unfortunately, but hey, can't argue with a free Berger reloading manual!

The match is a ton of fun, and pretty easy if you know your dope. Last time it was 1/3rd IPSC targets at 200-400, 2/3 at 600, and a 22" gong and 10" gong at 1000.

Yes, last time it was 5 rounds at 6 targets. Looks like this time it will be 10 rounds at 3 targets.

I believe this match has 1/2 man and full. Last match there were maybe 25 people. I'm going with sdman and maybe 4 others. See anyone there? Supposed to be 50 degrees or so

For those of us with no face book etc can we get a clear definition on this match? Round count, match fee, and whether its full or not?

Full description posted above, round count is 30, doesn't say what the fee is but I think last time it was $30 and $10 went into the pot for the winner. There's not a set number of spots, just show up and you can shoot, last time there were like 20 guys, we were done in about 2 hours. More guys, it'll just run longer.

Good match! Congrats to Killswitch for cleaning the course!! Bullshitting and meeting other shooters and blasting the prarie dog in the shoot-off was as fun as the rest of the match. Good fun! Will be back...

Fun day with good people. Much better then couch sitting! Shout out to my Ohio boys we represented the buckeye state today I think. Great shooting guys!!!!

hillside. Thanks for a nice range and the opportunity to use it. We will be back!

Maybe once my gun is built, I'll be able to shoot this one next year. Providing they still do it.

Great time out there with everyone! Wish I had my rifle zeroed before I shot first, but all in all a great day! Nice to meet all you Ohio guys.

USMCsean, they're definitely doing it again in June, should have a good number of shooters for that one. They do a couple other different long range matches as well throughout the year, I'll try to get details posted up for those when they happen.

I probably won't be able to get a gun built by then. I'm in that, "have to sell this for that" situation.

never realized that this range was so close to my folks place... I might just have to bring a rifle out next time we head east!

Killswitch and whoshotya made the match. It was nice to get to know them and have some good shooters to compete against.

Next time I will have to bring my A game.

Hopefully we will see more of you there next match.

Man how did I miss this?! June....I'll be gone for most of the month. How many matches like this do they put on in a year?

What is nice, you can shoot anything under a 338 lapua with 250 grain bullets. It makes the competition a bit more difficult to judge. 308 is typical but a few 6.5's of various lengths, 300 win, 338 lapua, etc.

Good times.
