Natives getting restless!

Invocations dragging one messenger of God or another into a meeting with citizens of every stripe are presumptuous, tacky, and even hurtful. While the liberal reaction was over the top, and they may even have been bused in, in its essence their objection is defensible.

One day 999 will ring/be texted thru out this land and Christians will once again stand up and burn down/destroy the houses of evil. Americans will take a lot as been shown for many, many years. This last election is a tripwire saying they have about had enough. Look at the election maps if you don't believe me, the amount of older first time voters is telling, even with dems voting repub. Neither party is worth spit, but Trump is/was the last hope before retribution starts. You living a pipe dream if you think it's by chance the US Military is training for whats coming. This country has removed those in power by force before an will again if needed. Athens Tenn was the last ouster but it will not be the last. Strange how that county has never had those issues again. When the people speak and no one heeds their words, they will heed an fully understand their next message. Busing folks in is ploy get it started faster.

And to the Pledge Of Allegiance that was attempted as well?

I have no issues with the Big Picture, Capital C Creator. No, I'm pretty much extremely positive about Him, if those among us who are pronoun-sensitive will forgive me. He's in me, He's around me 360°, and what we have is His gift. No questions.

But I do understand that non-believers are gonna get panties-bunched. And I don't really appreciate the attitude that I should come on in for the Big Win because Coach happens to believe that his quarterback is the one leading the team to victory. Victory isn't ours, and it isn't because of one messenger or another. It's strictly the property of the Creator.

Sorry, but no. I'll say the Pledge with pride, and stand for the Star Spangled Banner, but the minute someone puts a creepy hand on me and says 'take a knee for JC," I reserve the right to refuse gracefully.

Please explain why you are here except to stir the pot with you libtard spoon? If you don't like this country you are free to leave, but no you don't want to be American you want us to be like the shit hole you ID with. I'm fucking tired of fuck sticks that come here to the land of the free then try to make here like the shit hole they came from. You are either American, what to be or not. This B/S about I am X-American is just that. I don't give a fuck who you are if you call your self X-american no matter the front name, that tells my you deep down inside you hate this country an are only here to try an destroy it. Strange how motherfucking judges want to allow off shore assholes to fall under COTUS yet they allow them to circumvent our laws.

So answer the question why are you on the Hide, you don't shoot do you? If so where and with who?

Not sure what all this meant. I was merely asking about the Pledge because they protested that too, but you didn't mention that in your first post. My question had nothing to do with any of the above. I do see that you did address it (somewhat obliquely) at the end, but I understood all the other stuff from the first post.

We're starting early today. I'd suggest putting down the roller and start with a trim brush. And let's not forget our drop cloth's. The innuendo in strong. No, that's not a spanish dish.

Here's a fact. If the official had been islamic, and was trying to say a prayer in the name of allah, only to be interrupted and shut down by protesters, the fucking libs would be going apeshit over his rights being violated.

This^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^...
It is simple really, if you don't want to pray to JC don't partake in said activity.
If you don't want to kneel on a rug and pray to the east 5 times a day don't partake it it.
This however doesn't give you the right to attack/shout down others in the process of their faith.
I'm sure everyone has heard the following:
If a conservative doesn't believe in a faith he doesn't participate.
If a liberal doesn't believe in a faith he wants to rid the world of that faith.
Ad nauseam...

I don't mean to be terribly oblique. I'm trying to stay within the lines with my crayons so that we can continue to enjoy reasonable discussions. I answered more than you asked, in part to satisfy curiosity, but I'll be goddamned (and this isn't at you) if I have to put up with a Joe fucking McCarthy interrogation about what I believe in, whether or not I love this country, and whether or not my ass lines up with Mecca when I pray.

For the fucking record, my maternal grandfather's people washed up here in 1755 from what is now Northern Ireland. My paternal grandfather's people came from the UK in the late 19th century (that's a year that starts with an 18- for you six-toed motherfuckers), and both of my grandmothers were pure Pennsylvania Dutch. I got no clue when their people got here but I'm pretty sure it was well before Bostonians dumped tea in the harbor. I'm pretty sure that my two stuffed gun safes, NRA Life memberships, and civilian instructor certs hangin' out the ass speak to my practices. And whatever in the fuck some might think is on the front side of my "personal hyphen," I can tell you that the American on its back side comes first, just like the stars on our flag. 21 of "my people," the ones with whom I could be accused of identifying, fought 10,000 Afridi and Pashtun tribesmen to a standstill in 1897 for eight hours to the death. Ask around. Ask a veteran of Afghanistan. Finally, I love my country, I love its Constitution, and I love that it allows all of us freedom to choose different paths to enlightenment, no matter what others, who think that it's only their Constitution and that it only applies to them and those like them, might say. Simply put, molon labe, dipshits.

Good God,
AJ knows what to paint first. I always do the trim work before using the roller.
Oh, wait, you weren't really talking about the act of painting in the true sense. Were you?
You must be feeling a little better this morning. Glad to hear it.

Don't make me laugh Mike. Humor hertz. ;)

VeerG is a liberal and the orb just started turning in the opposite direction lmfao.

VG - I think you understand that I did not call anything about you into question other than your response. My initial question was to point out that, in stating you found their actions "defensible," you seemed to only have focused on their rejection of the prayer and perhaps forgot that they also shouted down a veteran who was there to lead the Pledge.

It was a leading question. My larger point to all this is to say that, being from the South, I have never really experienced this kind of group behavior in a meeting. I think the author of that article is correct in stating that folks down here weren't raised that way. Sure, you might get a few people objecting to a prayer offered in Jesus' name, but not a rioting mob. Notice at the Daytona 500 opening ceremony on Sunday, the chaplain did that very thing and no one raised as much as an eyebrow (yes, not a govt. meeting, but still...). And the thing with the Pledge is even more telling. The bottom line is that it seems very clear to me that this is Community Organizing (OFA) at its finest. Whether these people are "local" or not is really neither here nor there.

Damn bro, that was a good one. You should use profanity more often, you're one of the few who uses it effectively.

Again read what you wrote. Also it means squat what your kin did but if thats want you want to talk about we can go there. Where is the land that G. Washington gave your family for it's efforts in the rev war? Ours is in NW Ohio, and my kin has been in every conflict this nation has ever had, from the time we yes we stepped off the Pinta. I don't see you talking about shooting or matches at all. Even when I look at all your latest posts out of the pit or Maggie's they are all snide remarks. But you gave your true libtard Identity with your last words in your quote above. Its essence their objection is defensible tell me how to read that any other ways but libtard words?

Wow, my family didnt get here til 1640. Landed in Hanover, Virginia. We wrote the book on 'Redneck". I dont know about land from Washington but the family has fought in every war since, being on the losing side of one.

1600 mom's side, 1650 pop's side, Plymouth Rock, then south/southwest.
Pop's family mingled with the natives, not sure what you'd call us besides heathens.

Always suspected there was a little Native there, but heathen does not apply.

Our line till the early 1700's was true, (Misfits, Murderers, Assassins for hire) then what is today's Hinze 57 line started. Glad the first to get here choose the trip over the Kings Prison, otherwise we would have ended up as just plain euro trash, instead of just American fodder. LOL

well my people only been here since just before the Irish civil war, arrived just in time for ww1, being chased by all you alls scumbag english relatives. I have zero good will toward Ireland nor should any of you hold any affinity toward those shitholes that your families escaped from, they didnt risk it all because they were leaving paradise..

as far as VeerG and his band of magic carpet riders chanting with a brogue accent and the holy rollers of the JC club, WGAF, get over yourselves. As long as nobody is hurting anyone else, people need to respect others beliefs.

You reckon that's why liberal apologists and "people who 'have to pick a bathroom, a gender, a race, a belief' they weren't born to, have to pick it to be or become somebody (wannabes)", call us deplorables? Cause we won't play their games? and call bullshit on their bullshit? Like AJ said, WGAF....

Yeah, I know it's kinda off topic of those protesters, sorta, but it's really not. It's our beliefs versus theirs, they will protest and disrupt us as long as we let them run over our beliefs. Our standing up for our beliefs is just as much a protest against their disruption as theirs is a protest against our beliefs. And the Constitution allows both of us that privilege, however, until the whole law changes to their way, unfortunately for them, we are in the right.. fuck them.

Yeah fuck their beliefs It has in the past been my experience that there was security at these town halls and If they were held in the auditorium that held the town council there was a Sergeant at arms . So I am wondering when these shit heads start their shit why aren't they escorted out . Exercising your voice is a right . These are town hall meetings not permitted protests . Yeah I understand that some people may get passionate about some things but organized protest and losing your shit is not acceptable . It also falls under Disorderly Conduct . We are no longer a Nation of laws as every whiney shit bag whose as special as a fuckin snowflake is entitled to express itself ( politically correct pronoun ) any way that they see fit . And you're a fuckin Nazi piece a shit if you try to stop them from burnin something down , smashin somebody in the head with a bottle or gang attacking anyone who even appears to be a Trump supporter . Hitlery has had people removed forcibly just for holding signs at her events . I would bet a year's salary that Bloomberg has had people grounded and pounded . So we and I do mean that WE are tolerating this shit . Their beliefs and subsequent actions based and motivated by their delusional beliefs run counter to the laws of this Nation . So Yeah fuck their beliefs . If I choose to say the name of Jesus or pray aloud it is my choice . I dare anyone to challenge me on it . And I am a Christian because I sin . I am imperfect , talk like a trucker and have numerous other faults . And I believe . I choose to believe that Veer is a spiritual man and that his comments were not denigrating to Jesus or anyone's religious beliefs . I took it as an affirmation that the libtards would exploit separation of Church and State to start shit . Always looking for excuses to start shit . I also believe that we would be better suited to supporting one another as we may at some point be the last bastions of hope for this Nation .

Where the fuck did that come from? Scots-Irish are those from Scotland, mostly Presbyterians, who came to Ireland as an occupying force in the Plantations. I don't talk shit about others' beliefs and practices, and the fact that it's going on in this thread is why we haven't been able to discuss it in the past. You wanna run your mouth at someone who you don't think deserves to breathe American air so you can feel superior about something, do it away from a site identified with the shooting sports. It's one of the reasons that we have this problem as being seen as a sport for white, middle-aged, narrow-minded good old boys, and why we can't attract anyone who doesn't feel up to trying to buck the resistance of those who fit that stereotype. I do everything I can to try to bridge that gap, and the few "non-conformists" that I've managed to direct to this site have thanked me and said no when they got a whiff of what some of you were cookin'. It's like Pogo said, "I've met the enemy, and he is us."

Calm down old bearded one, I really dont think anyone gives a fk what religion you are, at least not on this forum. I am from NJ not Ireland. Scots Irish are the Englishs Bitches that were sent to Ireland to subjugate and dilute them, They aint Irish at all they are Scottish scumbags doing the Englishman's dirty work. I found the more easily a person is offended the more narrow their mind is. The socalled Scots Irish that are in America are Americans of Scottish decent, the ones in north Ireland are the refuse of invaders from Scotland.

Pardon me if I point out the fact that you either don't read or don't remember what you've read, but I (1) already stated clearly what Scots-Irish are, and (2), my ancestors came in 1755, which I guess makes me a descendant of the "subjugating and diluting scumbag refuse bitch Scottish invader" in your eyes.

Might I suggest that you drown your rancor with a proper whiskey?

That describes the left/libtard mind right there. It's either they're way or no way, an we have allowed that crap to get to the point it has. If you read between the lines long enough it becomes evident, but sometimes they will throw a bone w/o knowing it an it becomes very plain who they really are deep inside. Much like the ass that just left the WH, hearing him speak before he was elected told it all but he sounded gold to most who can't think for their-self's.

Good stuff there but I dont partake, I dont smoke, I dont drink, old age sucks. Pursue away, its a free country.

No wonder youre such a pain in he ass. Have a good drink, or toke up a doobie, and smile for a change, in Jesus name.

Oh yeah, and old age may suck but to this point its better than the alternative.

When people publicly rage about perceived injustices that don't affect them personally, we tend to assume this expression is rooted in altruism—a "disinterested and selfless concern for the well-being of others." But new research suggests that professing such third-party concern—what social scientists refer to as "moral outrage"—is often a function of self-interest, wielded to assuage feelings of personal culpability for societal harms or reinforce (to the self and others) one's own status as a Very Good Person.

Then there is this, my humble opinion:

They are, at some level, very unhappy in their personal lives. Mommy or daddy abused them. They didnt get the school they wanted because daddy lost his job and they had to go to work. Little brother got hit by a car and its my fault. Whatever. They feel choked in being able to speak about it, or fight against it, so they identify with others to find a way to let out the angry child thats kicking and screaming abut the injustice that was never resolved. Its not limited to libtards, though we're seeing that in spades now. its endemic in society as a whole. Right wing, conservatives suffer the same, its just expressed differently.
